प्र०- मृत्यु किसे कहते है ?

उ०- शरीर से आत्मा के वियोग होने को मृत्यु कहते है।
प्र०- क्या आत्मा अपनी इच्छा से दूसरे शरीर मे प्रवेश कर सकता है ?
उ०- नहीं यह ईश्वर की व्यवस्था से होता है।
प्र०- मृत्यु के बाद दूसरा शरीर धारण करने मे कितना समय लगता है ?
उ०- शरीर छोडने के बाद जीवात्मा ईश्वर की व्यवस्था से कुछ ही पलो मे दूसरा शरीर धारण कर लेता है।
प्र०- क्या इसमें अपवाद भी है ?
उ०- जी हां इस नियम मे अपवाद यह है कि मृत्यु के बाद जब आत्मा एक शरीर छोड देता है लेकिन अगला शरीर प्राप्त करने के लिये अपने कर्मानुसार माता का गर्भ उपलब्ध नहीं होता तो कुछ समय के लिए ईश्वर की व्यवस्था से यमलोक वायु मे रहता है। फिर अनुकूल माता पिता मिलने पर जन्म लेता है।
प्र०- मृत्यु के समय क्या होता है ?
उ०- उपनिषद मे कहा गया है कि जब मनुष्य अन्त समय मे कमजोरी से मूर्छित सा हो जाता है,तब आत्मा की चेतना शक्ति जो सभी बाहर और भीतर की इन्द्रियो मे फैली रहती है,उसे सिकोडती हुई हृदय मे पहुंचती है जहां उसकी समस्त शक्ति इकठ्ठा हो जाती है।जब आंख से वह चेतना मयी शक्ति जिसे चाक्षुष पुरुष कहा है , निकल जाती है तब आंखें ज्योति रहित हो जाती है और मनुष्य किसी को देखने व पहचानने मे असमर्थ हो जाता है। अर्थात् वह चेतना मयी शक्ति आंख ,नाक ,जिह्वा ,वाणी,श्रोत्र,मन,त्वचा आदि से निकल कर आत्मा मे समाविष्ट हो जाती है, तो ऐसे मरने वाले मनुष्य के पास बैठे लोग कहते है कि अब यह नहीं देखता, नहीं सुनता। इस प्रकार सब शक्तियो को लेकर जीव हृदय मे पहुंचता है और जब हृदय को छोडता है तो आत्मा की ज्योति से हृदय का अग्रभाग प्रकाशित हो जाता है, तब हृदय से भी उस ज्योति चेतना की शक्ति को लेकर हृदय से निकल जाता है,इस सम्बन्ध मे कहते है कि वह आंख , मूर्धा अथवा शरीर के अन्य भागो कान ,नाक ,और मुह आदि किसी स्थान से निकल जाता है। इस प्रकार शरीर से निकलने वाले जीव के साथ प्राण और समस्त इन्द्रिया भी निकल जाती है।जीव मरते समय सविज्ञान हो जाता है अर्थात् जीवन का सारा खेल सामने आ जाता है ।और निकलने वाले जीव के साथ उसका उपार्जित ज्ञान , उसके किये कर्म , और पिछले जन्मो के संस्कार, वासना और स्मृति जाती है। और सूक्ष्म शरीर भी साथ जाता है।

Q- How much time does it take to assume another body after death? A- After leaving the body, the soul takes another body in a few moments by the arrangement of God. Q- Is there an exception to this? A- Yes, the exception to this rule is that after death, when the soul leaves a body, but according to its karma, the mother’s womb is not available to get the next body, then Yamlok remains in the air for some time by the arrangement of God. . Then it takes birth after meeting favorable parents. Q- What happens at the time of death? A- It has been said in the Upanishads that when a man becomes unconscious due to weakness in the last time, then the consciousness power of the soul, which is spread in all the external and internal senses, shrinks it and reaches the heart, where all its power gathers. When that conscious power which is called Chakshush Purush, goes out of the eye, then the eyes become devoid of light and man becomes unable to see and recognize anyone. That is, that power of consciousness emerges from the eyes, nose, tongue, speech, ear, mind, skin etc. and gets absorbed in the soul, then people sitting near such a dying person say that now he does not see or hear. In this way, the creature reaches the heart with all the powers and when it leaves the heart, then the front part of the heart is illuminated by the light of the soul, then that light also leaves the heart with the power of consciousness, in this regard It is said that it comes out of the eyes, face or other parts of the body like ear, nose and mouth etc. In this way, along with the soul leaving the body, the soul and all the senses also leave. At the time of death, the soul becomes conscious, that is, the whole game of life comes to the fore. The rites, desires and memory of the previous births go away. And the subtle body also goes along with it.
