रुद्र रूप में भगवान शिव के साथ संरेखित करने के लिए रुद्र गायत्री मंत्र का अभ्यास किया जाता है। रुद्र मंत्र का जप प्रबुद्ध आत्म के साथ तालमेल बिठाने के लिए किया जाता है। रुद्र मंत्र का नियमित अभ्यास ब्रह्मांड की रचनात्मक ऊर्जा प्राप्त करने में मदद करता है।
रुद्र पूरे ब्रह्मांड में भगवान शिव का सबसे शक्तिशाली रूप है। रुद्र हर रूप, बल और तत्व को भस्म करने में सक्षम हैं।
ऋग्वेद के अनुसार ११ रुद्र हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक को सृष्टि में अलग-अलग कार्य सौंपे गए हैं।
११ रुद्र कपाली, पिंगला, भीम, विरुपाक्ष, विलोहिता, अजेश, शवासन, शास्ता, शंभु, चंदा और ध्रुव हैं।
रुद्र एक हिंसक तूफान की तरह है जो अपने विनाशकारी स्वभाव पर ध्यान केंद्रित करता है। ब्रह्मांड में हर ज्ञात शक्तिशाली बल रुद्र के सामने कुछ भी नहीं है।
रुद्र शब्द का अर्थ ‘गरजता तूफान’, ‘भयंकर’ और ‘विनाश’ भी है। रुद्र शब्द शिव के बलशाली वक्र का द्योतक है जो विनाश है। उनकी भी जय होती है, रुद्र शिव। त्रिदेवों में, शिव को संहारक नामित किया गया है और रुद्र शिव नाम अच्छी तरह से फिट बैठता है।
रुद्र शत्रुओं और सभी बुरी शक्तियों के दिल में भय पैदा करता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि अर्धदेवता भी रुद्र के प्रकोप से डरते हैं और रुद्र के नाम से ही कांपते हैं।
भगवान शिव की तपस्या भंग करने का प्रयास करने पर रुद्र ने कामदेव को भस्म कर दिया। रुद्र के प्रकोप से कोई भी प्राणी नहीं बच सकता।
रुद्र भी भक्तों के प्रति कोमल हैं। रुद्र भक्तों को नकारात्मक प्रभावों से बचाता है।
कई साधकों ने गायत्री मंत्र का जाप करने के बाद उच्च स्तर की साधना करने के लिए दिव्य ज्ञान और साहस का अनुभव किया है। अमावस्या के बाद किसी भी सोमवार को मंत्र शुरू किया जा सकता है।
रुद्रगायत्री मंत्र के लाभ-
यह मंत्र राहु और शनि के अशुभ प्रभावों को दूर करता है। यह मंत्र काल सर्प दोष को दूर करता है।एवं यह व्यक्ति के जीवन में स्फूर्ति, आनंद और उत्साह लाता है तथा यह मंत्र असाध्य और यौन रोगों को दूर करता है और यह मंत्र जीवन से मृत्यु के भय को दूर करता है।
रुद्र गायत्री मंत्र-
ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि। तन्नो रुद्र: प्रचोदयात।।
मंत्र का अर्थ-
‘हे त्रिकाल ज्ञाता महापुरुष देवो के देव महादेव, मैं अपने अस्तित्व और आस्था में विलीन होने दें।’
महादेव मुझे अद्वितीय ज्ञान और बुद्धि प्रदान करें, और मेरी बुद्धि में दिव्य प्राणों का संचार करें ॐ। मुझे महान पुरुष का ध्यान करने दो, हे महानतम भगवान, मुझे उच्च बुद्धि दो, और भगवान रुद्र को मेरे मन को रोशन करने दो।
ॐ सर्वेश्वराय विद्महे, शूलहस्ताय धीमहि। तन्नो रूद्र प्रचोदयात्।।
‘हे सर्वेश्वर भगवान! आपके हाथ में त्रिशूल है। मेरे जीवन में जो शूल है, कष्ट है, वो आपके कृपा से ही नष्ट होंगे। मैं आपकी शरण में हूँ।’
साधक को गायत्री मंत्र के प्रभाव को अधिकतम करने के लिए रुद्र द्वादश नाम स्तोत्र का पाठ भी करना चाहिए।

Rudra Gayatri Mantra is practiced to align with Lord Shiva in Rudra form. Rudra Mantra is chanted to attain harmony with the enlightened self. Regular practice of Rudra Mantra helps in receiving the creative energy of the universe.
Rudra is the most powerful form of Lord Shiva in the entire universe. Rudra is capable of incinerating every form, force and element.
According to the Rigveda, there are 11 Rudras, each of whom is assigned different functions in creation.
The 11 Rudras are Kapali, Pingala, Bhima, Virupaksha, Vilahita, Ajesh, Shavasana, Shasta, Shambhu, Chanda and Dhruva.
Rudra is like a violent storm that focuses its destructive nature. Every known powerful force in the universe is nothing in front of Rudra.
The word Rudra also means ‘thunderous storm’, ‘fierce’ and ‘destruction’. The word Rudra signifies the powerful curve of Shiva which is destruction. He also gets victory, Rudra Shiva. In the Trinity, Shiva is named the destroyer and Rudra fits the name Shiva well.
Rudra creates fear in the hearts of enemies and all evil forces. It is believed that even the demigods fear the wrath of Rudra and tremble at the very name of Rudra.
Rudra incinerated Kamadeva when he tried to break the penance of Lord Shiva. No creature can escape the wrath of Rudra.
Rudra is also gentle towards the devotees. Rudra protects the devotees from negative influences.
Many seekers have experienced divine wisdom and courage to pursue higher levels of spiritual practice after chanting the Gayatri Mantra. The mantra can be started on any Monday after Amavasya.
Benefits of Rudragayatri Mantra-
This mantra removes the inauspicious effects of Rahu and Saturn. This mantra removes Kaal Sarp Dosha and it brings vigor, joy and enthusiasm in a person’s life and this mantra removes incurable and sexual diseases and this mantra removes the fear of death from life.
Rudra Gayatri Mantra-
ॐ Tatpurushaya विद्महे Mahadevaya धीमहि। Tenno Rudra: prachodaya.
Meaning of mantra-
‘O Mahadev, the great man who knows the three times, let me merge in my existence and faith.’
May Mahadev grant me unique knowledge and wisdom, and infuse my intellect with divine life Om. Let me meditate on the great man, oh greatest Lord, give me high intelligence, and let Lord Rudra illuminate my mind.
ॐ Sarveshvaraaya विद्महे, Shulahastaaya धीमहि। Tenno rudra prachodayat.
‘O Almighty God! You have a trident in your hand. The pain and suffering in my life will be destroyed only by your grace. I am in your refuge.
The seeker should also recite Rudra Dwadash Naam Stotra to maximize the effect of Gayatri Mantra.
