पीछे घी का कटोरा लिए जा रहे,
बोले रुखी तो ना खाओ,
थोडा घी तो लेते जाओ,
रूप अपना क्यूँ मुझ से छिपा रहे।
तेरा मेरा एक नूर फिर काहे को हुजूर,
तुने शक्ल बनाली है श्वान की,
मुझे ओढनी उढा दी है इंसान की,
है कण कण में झांकी भगवान् की,

निगाह मीरा की निराली,
पीली जहर की प्याली,
ऐसा गिरधर बसाया हर श्वास में,
