दोनों एक दूजे के दिल में रहते हैं
मैं और मेरा श्याम
कभी जुदाई एक पल भी न सहते हैं

पिता पुत्र का नाता जग से न्यारा है
मैं उसको और श्याम प्रभु मुझे प्यारा है
एक दूजे बिन दोनों अधूरे रहते हैं

हर ग्यारस को श्याम मुझे बुलवाते हैं
बैठ कीर्तन हम दोनों बतियाते हैं
एक दूजे से मन की बातें कहते हैं
मैं और मेरा श्याम

श्या प्रभु को रसिया छलिया लोग कहें
दुनिया वाले मेरी भक्ति को ढोंग कहें
बेमतलब लोगों के ताने सहते हैं
मैं और मेरा श्याम

वो दानी करुणा का सागर करुणा कर
मुझ जैसे पापी याचक को अपना कर
सम्बन्धो के किले कभी नहीं ढ़हते हैं
मैं और मेरा श्याम

both live in each other’s heart
me and my shyam
never bear separation even for a moment
me and my shyam

Father and son relationship is different from the world
I love him and Shyam Prabhu
without each other both remain incomplete
me and my shyam

Shyam calls me every year
Sitting Kirtan we both talk
say things to each other
me and my shyam

Shy Prabhu is called Rasiya Chalia people
People of the world call my devotion a pretense
bear the taunts of meaningless people
me and my shyam

May that beneficent ocean of compassion do compassion
adopting a sinner like me
Relationship’s fortress never collapses
me and my shyam
