ठाकुरजी की ये लीला बडी ही मनमोहक है। नंदलाल ने सुबह ही टेरकंदब पर अपने सभी मित्रों को बुलाया और बरसाना जाने का विचार बनाया इतने में बलरामजी बोले कि – “लाला! फागुन चलर हौ है तू ऐसई जाएगौ तौ गोपी तोए पकड कै बाँध दींगी और खूब गुलाल गुलचा मारंगी।”
ठाकुरजी ने मन मे विचार बनाया और सभी मित्रों को बताया। विचार बडा ही सुंदर है। मित्रों का जयकारा लग गया और हर-हर कहते ही ठाकुर जी वहाँ से बरसाने की ओर चल दिए।
बड़ा ही मनमोहक दृश्य है शंकर भगवान उनके रूप को देख कर मन ही मन भावुक हो रहे है। उन्हें ऐसा भावुक देख माता पार्वती पूछ रही हैं – प्रभु! आप की नेत्रों में जल कैसे?
शंकर भगवान ने बडा ही सुंदर जबाब दिया कि, आज मेरा रूप मेरे जगत-पति ने लिया है तो मुझे आनन्द हो रहा है। सब देवगण उन्हें देख कर आनन्दमय हो रहे हैं।
अलख निरंजन सब दुख भंजन, कहते हुए ठाकुर जी बरसाने आ गये। बाघाम्बर ओढ़े, भस्म लपेटे, त्रिपुड़ लगाये। नगर में कौतुहल हो रहा है, अलख पुरुष को देख सब गोपियाँ अपना भविष्य पूछने लगीं। उनके चेले बाबा की जय हो कहने लगे। यह बात ललिता जी के कानों मे पहुँची कि नगर में कैलाश पर्वत से एक जोगी आया है जो कि सब का भविष्य बता रहा है। राधारानी ने अलख पुरुष को महल में बुलवाया और खूब खिलाया पिलाया फिर सब गोपियाँ उन से भविष्य पूछने लगीं।
राधा रानी अपना भविष्य पूछने लगीं तो ठाकुर जी हँस कर बोले तेरा पति तो काला है और गौ पालन करता है और तुम से मिलने के नए-नए भेष बनाता है।
इतने में राधा-रानी की निगाह उनकी कमर पे पडी तो वे मन ही मन हँसी कमर मे उनकी वंशी है।
राधा रानी ने ललिता जी के कान में कहा कि, अलख पुरुष को चेलों सहित घेर लो।
ललिता जी ने सब गोपियों को बुलाया और गुलाल अतर अरगजा केसर मंगवा लिया। राधा रानी ने ठाकुरजी की वंशी को निकाल लिया। ठाकुर जी को अपने असली भेष में आया देख सखा भागने लगे।
अागे भागे तो देखा की बलराम जी को गोपियों ने पकड रखा है और उनके गुलाल मार रही हैं। यह देख ठाकुर जी भी भागने लगे तो उनको विशाखा जी ने पीछे से पकड़ लिया और फिर खूब जमकर गुलाल मारा।
शिव जी, नारायण भगवान और सब देवगण यह देख कर कह रहे है कि, धन्य धन्य ब्रज की गोपियाँ! जय हो होरी के रसिया की

It is a very charming scene. Lord Shankar is getting emotional after seeing his form. Seeing him so emotional, Mother Parvati is asking – Lord! Why are your eyes watering?
Lord Shankar gave a very beautiful answer that, today my worldly husband has taken my form, so I am feeling happy. All the gods are happy seeing him.
Saying, Alakh Niranjan, remove all sorrows, Thakur ji came to shower. Covered with Baghambar, wrapped in ashes, applied Tripud. There is curiosity in the city, seeing the Alakh Purush, all the Gopis started asking about their future. His disciples started saying Jai Baba. This news reached Lalita ji’s ears that a Yogi has come to the city from Mount Kailash who is telling everyone’s future. Radharani called Alakh Purusha to the palace and fed him a lot and then all the Gopis started asking him about his future.
When Radha Rani started asking about her future, Thakur ji laughed and said, “Your husband is black and rears cows and makes new disguises to meet you.”
Meanwhile, when Radha-Rani’s eyes fell on his waist, they laughed in their heart that there is a descendant of theirs in his waist.
Radha Rani whispered in Lalita ji’s ear, surround the Alakh man with his disciples.
Lalita ji called all the gopis and asked for gulal and argja and saffron. Radha Rani took out Thakurji’s lineage. Seeing Thakur ji coming in his real guise, the friends started running away.
When they ran ahead, they saw that the Gopis had held Balram ji and were throwing gulal at him. Seeing this, Thakur ji also started running away, then Vishakha ji caught him from behind and then hit him very hard with gulal.
Seeing this, Lord Shiva, Lord Narayan and all the gods are saying, Blessed are the Gopis of Braj! Jai hori ke rasiya
