सनातन शब्द ही पवित्र जीवनशैली का प्रतीक है
भारत में जो कुछ भी किया जाए,उससे भारतीयता विलग नहीं होनी चाहिए। भारतीयता का एक बड़ा आधार है- सनातन धर्म। सनातनी होने का अर्थ है, मनुष्य जीवन में जो कुछ भी श्रेष्ठ है, उसको पहचानना, उजागर करना और समस्त प्राणियों के लिए उसका उपयोग करना। इसे किसी विशेष धर्म से जोड़कर नासमझ लोग इसी का अपमान कर जाते हैं। सच तो ये है, विभीषण ने अपने भाई रावण से कहा था, ‘सुमति कुमति सब कें उर रहहीं।’ यह सनातन का उद्घोष है।
