एक ऐसा मंदिर जिसमे पानी की जगह देशी घी (मक्खन) का इस्तेमाल किया गया- हाँ जी,राजस्थान के #बीकानेर मे #भांडासर या भांडाशाह जैन मंदिर, एक ऐसा मंदिर है जिसको बनाने मे मिश्रण के लिए पानी की जगह देशी घी का उपयोग किया गया था इस मंदिर का निर्माण 15वी शताब्दी के एक व्यापारी भांडाशाह ओसवाल द्वारा करवाया गया था,
तीन मंज़िला मंदिर को बनाने मे लाल और पीले पत्थर का इस्तेमाल किया गया है, इस की दीवारों, खिड्कियों और छत पर आपको उस समय की नायाब कारीगरी देखने को मिलेगी, पत्ती नुमा चित्रकारी, #फ्रेसको चित्रकारी, शीशा पर की गयी कारीगरी देख कर आप सिर्फ और सिर्फ देखते ही रह जाएगे पांचवे तिर्थांकर को समर्पित इस जैन मंदिर की ख्याति देश ही नहीं अपितु विदेशो तक है।
◆ #भांडाशाह ओसवाल ने पानी की जगह घी से मंदिर का निर्माण क्यों करवाया इससे जुड़ी कुछ कहानियाँ वहाँ के पुजारी ने बताई जो कितनी सत्य है कोई नहीं जानता, पर रोचक बहुत है।
- भांडाशाह ओसवाल घी के व्यापारी थे उनकी जब मंदिर के निर्माण को लेकर मिस्त्री के साथ अंतिम निर्णय की बैठक चल रही थी तब दुकान मे रखे घी के पात्र मे एक मक्खी गिर कर मर गयी तो सेठ जी ने मक्खी को उठा कर अपने जूते पर रगड़ लिया और मक्खी को दूर फेक दिया, पास ही बैठा मिस्त्री ये सब देख कर आश्चर्यचकित हो गया की सेठ कितना कंजूस है मक्खी मे लगे घी से भी अपने जूते चमका लिए, फिर मिस्त्री ने सेठ की दानवीरता की परीक्षा लेने की ठानी, मिस्त्री बोला सेठ जी मंदिर को शताब्दियों तक मजबूती देने के लिए इसमे इस्तेमाल होने वाले मिश्रण मे पानी की जगह घी का उपयोग करना उचित रहेगा, सेठ जी भोले-भाले थे, उन्होने घी का इंतजाम भी करवा दिया, जब मंदिर का निर्माण शुरू किया जा रहा था उस समय मिस्त्री ने सेठ जी से क्षमा मांगी और कहा कि मैंने एक दिन आपको घी मे पड़ी मक्खी से अपने जूते चमकाते देखा तो सोचा की आप बहुत कंजूस हो पर सेठ जी आप तो बहुत बड़े दिल के दानवीर हो मुझे माफ कर दीजिये। ये घी वापस ले जाइए मै मंदिर निर्माण मे पानी का ही इस्तेमाल करूंगा, तब सेठ जी ने कहा कि वो तुम्हारी ना समझी थी कि तुमने मेरी परीक्षा ली अब ये घी भगवान के नाम मैंने दान कर दिया है सो अब इसका इस्तेमाल तुमको मंदिर निर्माण मे करना ही होगा, मिस्त्री ने मंदिर निर्माण मे 40 हज़ार किलो घी का इस्तेमाल किया, आज भी तेज गर्मी के दिनो मे इस #जैन #मंदिर की दीवार और फर्श से घी रिसता है।
- #राजस्थान के कई इलाके शताब्दियों से पानी की कमी को झेल रहे है, उनमे से एक ये गाँव भी था, जहां सेठ भांडाशाह ओसवाल रहते थे, जब सेठ जी ने मंदिर निर्माण के विचार को सभी गाँव वालों से साझा किया तो सभी ने कहा की पानी की बहुत समस्या है, आप ये मंदिर निर्माण कही अन्य जगह करवा लीजिये यहाँ ग्रामीणो को पीने तक को पानी नहीं है। पानी की समस्या को देखते हुए सेठ जी ने मंदिर निर्माण मे देशी घी का प्रयोग करवाया और मंदिर का निर्माण अपने ही गाँव मे करवाया।

Take this ghee back, I will use only water in the construction of the temple, then Seth ji said that she did not understand that you have tested me, now I have donated this ghee in the name of God, so now you can use it in the construction of the temple.
