One Sethji had opened the food session. The feeling of charity was less, the main feeling was that the society should consider him a donor, should praise him. His fans were not even less. Sethji Galleka used to do wholesale business. At the end of the year, the rotting food that was left in the granaries, was given for the Annasatra. Usually, only rotted jowar roti was available to the hungry in Sethji’s Anna-₹ area.
Sethji’s son got married. The daughter-in-law came home. She was soft-spoken, religious and thoughtful. He was saddened to see the behavior of his father-in-law. He took upon himself the burden of preparing the food. On the very first day, he made a roti by ordering rotten jowar flour from the grain area. Sethji was sitting to eat. The daughter-in-law also served that bread in his plate along with other food. Seeing the black, thick bread, Sethji out of curiosity put the first piece of grass in her mouth and while spitting spittingly said – ‘Daughter! There is a lot of flour in the house. From where did you get this rotten jowar flour for making bread? What did you think?’
The daughter-in-law said – ‘Father! Bread made of this flour is given to the hungry in your food sector. In the other world only that which is given here is received. There you have to live only on this flour bread. That’s why I thought that from now on you should get used to eating it, then slowly there will be less pain.’
It goes without saying that rotten flour was thrown away from the food sector on the same day and good flour was arranged there. – Su 0 Sin 0
