खोज परमात्मा की विरला ही करता है

परमात्मा की खोज पर निकलने में जो सबसे बड़ी बाधा है, वह मन का यह नियम है कि हमें उसका ही पता चलता है, जो नहीं है। निगेटिव का पता चलता है, पाजिटिव का पता नहीं चलता। टूट गया दांत, तो पता चलता है। वह दांत चालीस साल से आपके पास था, तब इस जीभ ने कभी उसकी फिक्र न की। आज नहीं है, तो उसकी तलाश है!
मन निगेटिविटी, मन जो है नकार की तरफ दौड़ता है। वैसे ही जैसे पानी गङ्ढों की तरफ दौड़ता है, ऐसा ही मन अभाव की तरफ, एब्सेंस की तरफ, जो नहीं है, उसकी तरफ दौड़ता है। जो है, उसकी तरफ मन नहीं दौड़ता।

अगर परमात्मा की खोज पर निकलना हो, करोड़ों में एक बनना हो, तो इस सूत्र से विपरीत चलेंगे तभी, अन्यथा कभी नहीं। जो आपके पास हो, उसका स्मरण रखें; और जो आपसे दूर हो, उसे भूल जाएं। जो दांत अभी मुंह में हो, उसे जीभ से टटोलें; और जो गिर जाए, उसे मत टटोलें। जो आज सुबह रोटी मिली हो, उसका आनंद लें; जो रोटी कल मिलेगी, उसके सपने मत देखें। जो नहीं है, उसे छोड़ दें; और जो है, उसे पूरे आनंद से जी लें। तो आप करोड़ों में एक बनना शुरू हो जाएंगे।
क्योंकि ध्यान रखना, यात्रा सीधी परमात्मा की नहीं हो सकती, जब तक आपके मन का ढंग, आपके मन की व्यवस्था न बदले।
कभी आपने खयाल किया कि आप सोचते हैं, एक मकान बना लें। जब तक नहीं बनाते, तब तक मन बिलकुल आर्किटेक्ट हो जाता है। कितनी कल्पनाएं करता है! कितने नक्शे बनाता है! फिर मकान बन जाता है। फिर उसी मकान में जीने लगते हैं, और मकान को भूल जाते हैं। हां, रास्ते से जो निकलते होंगे, उनके मन में आपके मकान के लिए विचार आता होगा। आपको भर नहीं आता, जो उसके भीतर रहता है!
