।। प्रभु श्रीराम सब का मङ्गल करें ।।

जिस समय संसार में दुराचार, दुर्विचार का परितः प्रसार होने लगता है, अहिंसा, सत्य, अस्तेय, धैर्य, न्याय आदि मानवोचित सद्गुणों का अपमान होने लगता है, दम्भ का ही साम्राज्य तथा वेद-शास्त्रोक्त वर्णाश्रम धर्म का विलोप होने लगता है, दैत्य-दानवों या दैत्यप्राय कुपुरुषों से धरा व्याकुल हो जाती है, सत्पुरुष तथा देवगण अनीति से उद्विग्न हो उठते हैं, उस समय सर्वपालक भगवान् किसी रूप में प्रकट होकर श्रुति-सेतु का पालन करते और अपने मनोहर, मंगलमय, परम पवित्र चरित्रों का विस्तार करके प्राणियों के लिये मोक्ष का मार्ग प्रशस्त कर देते हैं।

अभिज्ञों का मत है कि यदि भगवान् का विशुद्ध, सत्त्वमय, परम मनोहर, मधुर स्वरूप प्रकट न होता तो अदृश्य, अग्राह्य, अव्यपदेश्य परब्रह्म के साक्षात्कार की बात ही जगत् से मिट जाती। भगवान् की मधुर मूर्ति एवं चरित्रों में मन के आसक्त हो जाने पर उसकी निर्मलता और एकाग्रता सहज में ही सिद्ध हो जाती है। निर्मल एवं एकाग्र चित्त ही भगवान् के अचिन्त्य रूप के चिन्तन में समर्थ होता है।

जैसे अंजन द्वारा शुद्ध नेत्र से सूक्ष्म वस्तु का परिज्ञान सुगमता से हो जाता है, वैसे ही भगवच्चरित्र एवं उनके मधुर स्वरूप के परिशीलन से निर्मल होकर चित्त सूक्ष्म-से-सूक्ष्म भगवदीय रहस्यों को समझ लेता है।

इसके अतिरिक्त अमलात्मा परमहंस महामुनीन्द्रों को प्रेमयोग-प्रदान करने के लिये भी प्रभु के लीला-विग्रह का आविर्भाव होता है। इन्हीं सब भावों को लेकर मधुमास के शुक्लपक्ष की नवमी को मर्यादा-पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् श्रीरामचन्द्र का जन्म हुआ।

When misconduct, misconceptions start spreading around in the world, humane virtues like non-violence, truth, stealth, patience, justice etc. start being insulted, the empire of pride and the varnashrama religion mentioned in the Vedas and scriptures starts disappearing, the demon- When the earth is disturbed by demons or almost demon-like evil men, when the righteous and the gods are disturbed by iniquity, the Lord of all appears in some form and follows the bridge of hearing and expands His beautiful, auspicious, supremely holy characters to the creatures pave the way for salvation.

The experts are of the opinion that if the pure, Sattvamaya, supremely beautiful, sweet form of the Lord had not appeared, the very thing of realizing the invisible, inaccessible, indescribable Parabrahma would have been erased from the world. When the mind becomes attached to the sweet idol and characters of the Lord, its purity and concentration is easily perfected. Only a pure and concentrated mind is capable of contemplating the inconceivable form of God.

Just as subtle things are easily perceived by the pure eye through the Anjan, in the same way the mind, being purified by meditation on the Lord’s character and His sweet form, understands the subtle-to-subtle mysteries of God.

In addition to this, the Leela-Vigraha of the Lord also appears in order to bestow love-yoga to Amlatma Paramhans Mahamunindra. With all these sentiments, on the Navami of Shukla Paksha of Madhumas, Lord Shri Ramchandra, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, was born.
