रामायण में उरमिला का विस्वास

मेघनाद से युद्ध करते हुए जब लक्ष्मण जी को शक्ति लग जाती है और श्री हनुमानजी उनके लिये संजीवनी का पहाड़ लेके लौट रहे होते हैं, तो बीच में अयोध्या में भरत जी उन्हें राक्षस समझकर बाण मारते हैं और हनुमान जी गिर जाते हैं। तब हनुमान जी सारा वृत्तांत सुनाते हैं कि माता सीता को रावण हर ले गया है और लक्ष्मण जी वहां शक्ति लगने से मूरछीत पड़े हैं।
यह बात जब कौशल्या माता को ज्ञात होती है तो वो कहती हैं कि श्री राम को कहना कि लक्ष्मण के बिना अयोध्या में पैर भी मत रखें, राम वन में ही रहे।
माता सुमित्रा कहती हैं कि, राम से कहना कि कोई बात नहीं अभी शत्रुघन है, मैं उसे भेज दूंगी। मेरे दोनों पुत्र राम सेवा के लिये ही तो जन्मे हैं।
माताओं का प्रेम देखकर श्री हनुमान जी की आंखों से अश्रुधारा बह निकली। परन्तु जब उन्होंने उरमिला जी को देखा तो वे सोचने लगे कि यह क्यों एकदम शांत और प्रसन्न खड़ी हैं ? क्या इन्हें अपनी पति के प्राणों की कोई चिंता नहीं ?
हनुमान जी ने उनके समक्ष हाथ जोड़े और पूछा- हे देवी,क्या मै आपकी इस प्रसन्नता का कारण जान सकता हूं ?
आपके पति के प्राण संकट में हैं। सूर्य उदित होते ही ‘सूर्य कुल’ का दीपक बुझ जायेगा।
यह सुनकर उरमिला जी ने जो उत्तर दिया उसे सुनकर तीनों लोकों का कोई भी प्राणी उनकी वंदना किये बिना नहीं रह सकता।
उरमिला जी बोलीं- “मेरा दीपक संकट में नहीं है, वो बुझ ही नहीं सकता। रही सूरयोदय की बात तो आप चाहें तो कुछ दिन अयोध्या में विश्राम कर लीजिये, क्योंकि आपके वहां पहुंचे बिना सूर्य उदित हो ही नहीं सकता।
आपने कहा कि प्रभु श्रीराम मेरे पति को अपनी गोद में लेकर बैठे हैं। जो योगेश्वर राम की गोदी में लेटा हो, काल उसे छू भी नहीं सकता।
यह तो वो दोनों लीला कर रहे हैं। मेरे पति जब से वन गये हैं, तब से वे सोये नहीं हैं। उन्होंने बड़े भैया की सेवा और रक्षा के लिए एक क्षण भी न सोने का प्रण लिया था।
इसलिए वे थोड़ी देर बस विश्राम कर रहे हैं। और जब स्वयं भगवान् की गोद मिल गयी हो तो विश्राम थोड़ा दीरघ हो गया। वे उठ जायेंगे।
और हां! शक्ति तो मेरे पति को लगी ही नहीं, शक्ति तो रामजी को लगी है।
मेरे स्वामी की तो हर श्वास में राम हैं, हर धड़कन में राम, उनके रोम-रोम में राम हैं, उनके रकत की बूंद-बूंद में राम हैं, और जब उनके शरीर और आत्मा में सिरफ राम ही हैं, तो शक्ति राम जी को ही लगी, दरद राम जी को ही हो रहा होगा। इसलिये हनुमान जी आप निश्चिन्त होके जाएँ। सूरय उदित नहीं होगा।

When Lakshman ji gets power while fighting with Meghnad and Shri Hanuman ji is returning with a mountain of Sanjeevani for him, in the middle of Ayodhya Bharat ji shoots arrows considering him as a demon and Hanuman ji falls. Then Hanuman ji narrates the whole story that Mother Sita has been taken away by Ravana and Lakshman ji is lying unconscious due to the power there.
When Kaushalya Mata comes to know about this, she says to tell Shri Ram that without Lakshmana, don’t even set foot in Ayodhya, Ram should stay in the forest.
Mata Sumitra says that, to tell Ram that there is nothing Shatrughan is still there, I will send him. Both my sons were born for the service of Ram.
Seeing the love of mothers, tears flowed from the eyes of Shri Hanuman ji. But when he saw Urmila ji, he started thinking that why is she standing so calm and happy? Are they not worried about their husband’s life?
Hanuman ji folded his hands in front of him and asked- O Goddess, may I know the reason for your happiness?
Your husband’s life is in danger. As soon as the sun rises, the lamp of ‘Surya Kul’ will be extinguished.
Hearing this, Urmila ji replied that no creature of the three worlds could live without worshiping her.
Urmila ji said- “My lamp is not in trouble, it cannot be extinguished. Talking about the sunrise, if you want, then take rest in Ayodhya for a few days, because the sun cannot rise without you reaching there.
You said that Lord Shri Ram is sitting with my husband in his lap. The one who is lying in the lap of Yogeshwar Ram, Kaal cannot even touch him.
Both of them are doing this Leela. Since my husband has gone to the forest, he has not slept. He had vowed not to sleep even for a moment to serve and protect his elder brother.
So they are just resting for a while. And when the lap of the Lord Himself has been found, the rest becomes a little longer. They will get up.
and yes! Not only did my husband have power, but Ramji has got power.
My lord has Rama in every breath, Rama in every heartbeat, Rama in his every pore, Rama in every drop of his blood, and when there is only Rama in his body and soul, the power to Rama It seemed, the pain must have been happening to Ram ji only. That’s why Hanuman ji, you should be sure. The sun will not rise.”
