एक संत के आश्रम में एक शिष्य कहीं से एक तोता ले आया।
और उसे पिंजरे में रख दिया।संत ने कई बार शिष्य से कहा कि इसे कैद ना करो।
परतंत्रता संसार का सबसे बड़ा अभिशाप है।
पर शिष्य अपने बाल सुलभ कोतुहल को रोक ना सका।
उसने तोते को पिंजरे में ही बंद रहने दिया।
तब संत ने सोचा कि तोते को ही स्वतंत्र होने का पाठ पढ़ाना चाहिए। वह हर दिन तोते के पास जाने लगे। और उसे नित्य ही सिखाने लगे “पिंजरा छोड़ दो उड़ जाओ”। कुछ दिन में तोते को वाक्य भली भांति रट गया।
तब एक दिन सफाई करते समय शिष्य से भूल से पिंजरा खुला रह गया। संत कुटी में आए तो देखा तोता पिंजरे से बाहर निकल आया है। और बड़े आराम से इधर-उधर घूम रहा है।
साथ ही ऊंचे स्वर में कह भी रहा है।
“पिंजरा छोड़ दो उड़ जाओ”।
संत को आता देख वह अपने पिंजरे में अंदर चला गया। और अपना पाठ जोर जोर से दोहराने लगा।
संत को यह देखकर आश्चर्य हुआ। साथ ही वह दुखी भी हुआ। यह वह यही सोचते रहे कि इसने केवल शब्द को ही याद किया। यदि इसका अर्थ भी जानता तो यह इस समय पिंजरे से स्वतंत्र हो गया होता।
💐💐शिक्षा💐💐
हम सब ज्ञान की बड़ी-बड़ी बातें सीखते और करते हैं। पर उसका मर्म समझ नहीं पाते उचित समय और अवसर मिलने पर भी उसका लाभ नहीं उठा पाते और जहां के तहां रह जाते हैं।
हम रोज कितने ही मंसूबे गड़ते रहते हैं। सोचते बहुत हैं बस सोचे हुए पर टिकते नहीं हैं। फिर झुँझलाते हैं और खुद पर लापरवाह आलसी और नाकाबिल होने के ठप्पे भी लगाते हैं। दरअसल सोचना ही काफी नहीं होता खुद को बेहतर भी बनाना होता है।
A disciple brought a parrot from somewhere in a saint’s ashram. And kept him in a cage. The saint told his disciple several times not to imprison him. Dependence is the biggest curse of the world. But the disciple could not stop his childish curiosity. He left the parrot confined in the cage.
Then the saint thought that the parrot should be taught the lesson of being independent. He started visiting the parrot every day. And started teaching him daily “Leave the cage and fly”. Within a few days the parrot memorized the sentence well.
Then one day while cleaning, the disciple accidentally left the cage open. When the saint came to the hut, he saw that the parrot had come out of the cage. And moving around very comfortably. And he is also saying it in a loud voice. “Leave the cage and fly”. Seeing the saint coming, he went inside his cage. And started repeating his lesson loudly.
The saint was surprised to see this. At the same time he also felt sad. He kept thinking that he remembered only the word. Had he known its meaning, he would have been freed from the cage by this time.
💐💐Education💐💐 We all learn and do great things of knowledge. But they are unable to understand its essence and even when they get the right time and opportunity, they are unable to take advantage of it and remain stuck wherever they are. We keep making so many plans every day. Think a lot but don’t stick to what you think. Then they get irritated and label themselves as careless, lazy and incompetent. Actually, thinking is not enough, we also have to make ourselves better.
