भगवान राम की देवताओं द्वारा स्तुति

दोहा-
बरषहिं सुमन हरषि सुर बाजहिं गगन निसान।
गावहिं किंनर सुरबधू नाचहिं चढ़ीं बिमान।।

भावार्थ-
देवता हर्षित होकर फूल बरसाने लगे।
आकाश में डंके बजने लगे। किन्नर गाने लगे।
विमानों पर चढ़ी अप्सराएँ नाचने लगीं।

जनकसुता समेत प्रभु सोभा अमित अपार।
देखि भालु कपि हरषे जय रघुपति सुख सार।।

भावार्थ-
श्री जानकीजी सहित प्रभु श्री रामचंद्रजी की अपरिमित और अपार शोभा देखकर रीछ-वानर हर्षित हो गए और सुख के सार श्री रघुनाथजी की जय बोलने लगे।

चौपाई-
तब रघुपति अनुसासन पाई।
मातलि चलेउ चरन सिरु नाई।।

आए देव सदा स्वारथी।
बचन कहहिं जनु परमारथी।।

भावार्थ-
तब श्री रघुनाथजी की आज्ञा पाकर इंद्र का सारथी मातलि चरणों में सिर नवाकर (रथ लेकर) चला गया। तदनन्तर सदा के स्वार्थी देवता आए। वे ऐसे वचन कह रहे हैं मानो बड़े परमार्थी हों।

दीन बंधु दयाल रघुराया।
देव कीन्हि देवन्ह पर दाया।।

बिस्व द्रोह रत यह खल कामी।
निज अघ गयउ कुमारगगामी।।

भावार्थ-
हे दीनबन्धु! हे दयालु रघुराज! हे परमदेव! आपने देवताओं पर बड़ी दया की। विश्व के द्रोह में तत्पर यह दुष्ट, कामी और कुमार्ग पर चलने वाला रावण अपने ही पाप से नष्ट हो गया।

तुम्ह समरूप ब्रह्म अबिनासी।
सदा एकरस सहज उदासी।।

अकल अगुन अज अनघ अनामय।
अजित अमोघसक्ति करुनामय।।

भावार्थ-
आप समरूप, ब्रह्म, अविनाशी, नित्य, एकरस, स्वभाव से ही उदासीन (शत्रु-मित्र-भावरहित), अखंड, निर्गुण (मायिक गुणों से रहित), अजन्मे, निष्पाप, निर्विकार, अजेय, अमोघशक्ति (जिनकी शक्ति कभी व्यर्थ नहीं जाती) और दयामय हैं।

मीन कमठ सूकर नरहरी।
बामन परसुराम बपु धरी।।

जब जब नाथ सुरन्ह दुखु पायो।
नाना तनु धरि तुम्हइँ नसायो।।

भावार्थ-
आपने ही मत्स्य, कच्छप, वराह, नृसिंह, वामन और परशुराम के शरीर धारण किए।
हे नाथ! जब-जब देवताओं ने दुःख पाया, तब-तब अनेकों शरीर धारण करके आपने ही उनका दुःख नाश किया।

यह खल मलिन सदा सुरद्रोही।
काम लोभ मद रत अति कोही।।

अधम सिरोमनि तव पद पावा।
यह हमरें मन बिसमय आवा।।

भावार्थ-
यह दुष्ट मलिन हृदय, देवताओं का नित्य शत्रु, काम, लोभ और मद के परायण तथा अत्यंत क्रोधी था। ऐसे अधमों के शिरोमणि ने भी आपका परम पद पा लिया। इस बात का हमारे मन में आश्चर्य हुआ।

हम देवता परम अधिकारी।
स्वारथ रत प्रभु भगति बिसारी।।

भव प्रबाहँ संतत हम परे।
अब प्रभु पाहि सरन अनुसरे।।

अब हे प्रभो! हम आपकी शरण में आ गए हैं, हमारी रक्षा कीजिए।

दोहा-
करि बिनती सुर सिद्ध सब रहे जहँ तहँ कर जोरि।
अति सप्रेम तन पु‍लकि बिधि अस्तुति करत बहोरि।।

भावार्थ-
विनती करके देवता और सिद्ध सब जहाँ के तहाँ हाथ जोड़े खड़े रहे। तब अत्यंत प्रेम से पुलकित शरीर होकर ब्रह्माजी स्तुति करने लगे :

छंद-
जय राम सदा सुख धाम हरे।
रघुनायक सायक चाप धरे।।

भव बारन दारन सिंह प्रभो।
गुन सागर नागर नाथ बिभो।।

भावार्थ-
हे नित्य सुखधाम और (दु:खों को हरने वाले) हरि! हे धनुष-बाण धारण किए हुए रघुनाथजी! आपकी जय हो। हे प्रभो! आप भव (जन्म-मरण) रूपी हाथी को विदीर्ण करने के लिए सिंह के समान हैं। हे नाथ! हे सर्वव्यापक! आप गुणों के समुद्र और परम चतुर हैं‍।

तन काम अनेक अनूप छबी।
गुन गावत सिद्ध मुनींद्र कबी।।

जसु पावन रावन नाग महा।
खगनाथ जथा करि कोप गहा।।

भावार्थ-
आपके शरीर की अनेकों कामदेवों के समान, परंतु अनुपम छवि है। सिद्ध, मुनीश्वर और कवि आपके गुण गाते रहते हैं।
आपका यश पवित्र है। आपने रावणरूपी महासर्प को गरुड़ की तरह क्रोध करके पकड़ लिया।

जन रंजन भंजन सोक भयं।
गत क्रोध सदा प्रभु बोधमयं।।

अवतार उदार अपार गुनं।
महि भार बिभंजन ग्यानघनं।।

भावार्थ-
हे प्रभो! आप सेवकों को आनंद देने वाले, शोक और भय का नाश करने वाले, सदा क्रोधरहित और नित्य ज्ञान स्वरूप हैं।
आपका अवतार श्रेष्ठ, अपार दिव्य गुणों वाला, पृथ्वी का भार उतारने वाला और ज्ञान का समूह है।

अज ब्यापकमेकमनादि सदा।
करुनाकर राम नमामि मुदा।।

रघुबंस बिभूषन दूषन हा।
कृत भूप बिभीषन दीन रहा।।

भावार्थ-
(किंतु अवतार लेने पर भी) आप नित्य, अजन्मा, व्यापक, एक (अद्वितीय) और अनादि हैं। हे करुणा की खान श्रीरामजी! मैं आपको बड़े ही हर्ष के साथ नमस्कार करता हूँ। हे रघुकुल के आभूषण! हे दूषण राक्षस को मारने वाले तथा समस्त दोषों को हरने वाले! विभिषण दीन था, उसे आपने (लंका का) राजा बना दिया।

गुन ध्यान निधान अमान अजं।
नित राम नमामि बिभुं बिरजं।।

भुजदंड प्रचंड प्रताप बलं।
खल बृंद निकंद महा कुसलं।।

भावार्थ-
हे गुण और ज्ञान के भंडार! हे मानरहित! हे अजन्मा, व्यापक और मायिक विकारों से रहित श्रीराम! मैं आपको नित्य नमस्कार करता हूँ। आपके भुजदंडों का प्रताप और बल प्रचंड है। दुष्ट समूह के नाश करने में आप परम निपुण हैं।

बिनु कारन दीन दयाल हितं।
छबि धाम नमामि रमा सहितं।।

भव तारन कारन काज परं।
मन संभव दारुन दोष हरं।।

भावार्थ-
हे बिना ही कारण दीनों पर दया तथा उनका हित करने वाले और शोभा के धाम! मैं श्रीजानकीजी सहित आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ। आप भवसागर से तारने वाले हैं, कारणरूपा प्रकृति और कार्यरूप जगत दोनों से परे हैं और मन से उत्पन्न होने वाले कठिन दोषों को हरने वाले हैं।

सर चाप मनोहर त्रोन धरं।
जलजारुन लोचन भूपबरं।।

सुख मंदिर सुंदर श्रीरमनं।
मद मार मुधा ममता समनं।।

भावार्थ-
आप मनोहर बाण, धनुष और तरकस धारण करने वाले हैं। (लाल) कमल के समान रक्तवर्ण आपके नेत्र हैं। आप राजाओं में श्रेष्ठ, सुख के मंदिर, सुंदर, श्री (लक्ष्मीजी) के वल्लभ तथा मद (अहंकार), काम और झूठी ममता के नाश करने वाले हैं।

अनवद्य अखंड न गोचर गो।
सब रूप सदा सब होइ न गो।।

इति बेद बदंति न दंतकथा।
रबि आतप भिन्नमभिन्न जथा।।

भावार्थ-
आप अनिन्द्य या दोषरहित हैं, अखंड हैं, इंद्रियों के विषय नहीं हैं। सदा सर्वरूप होते हुए भी आप वह सब कभी हुए ही नहीं, ऐसा वेद कहते हैं। यह (कोई) दंतकथा (कोरी कल्पना) नहीं है। जैसे सूर्य और सूर्य का प्रकाश अलग-अलग हैं और अलग नहीं भी है, वैसे ही आप भी संसार से भिन्न तथा अभिन्न दोनों ही हैं।

कृतकृत्य बिभो सब बानर ए।
निरखंति तनानन सादर ए।।

धिग जीवन देव सरीर हरे।
तव भक्ति बिना भव भूलि परे।।

भावार्थ-
हे व्यापक प्रभो! ये सब वानर कृतार्थ रूप हैं, जो आदरपूर्वक ये आपका मुख देख रहे हैं।
(और) हे हरे! हमारे (अमर) जीवन और देव (दिव्य) शरीर को धिक्कार है, जो हम आपकी भक्ति से रहित हुए संसार में (सांसारिक विषयों में) भूले पड़े हैं।

अब दीनदयाल दया करिऐ।
मति मोरि बिभेदकरी हरिऐ।।

जेहि ते बिपरीत क्रिया करिऐ।
दुख सो सुख मानि सुखी चरिऐ।।

भावार्थ-
हे दीनदयालु! अब दया कीजिए और मेरी उस विभेद उत्पन्न करने वाली बुद्धि को हर लीजिए, जिससे मैं विपरीत कर्म करता हूँ और जो दु:ख है, उसे सुख मानकर आनंद से विचरता हूँ।

खल खंडन मंडन रम्य छमा।
पद पंकज सेवित संभु उमा।।

नृप नायक दे बरदानमिदं।
चरनांबुज प्रेमु सदा सुभदं।।

भावार्थ-
आप दुष्टों का खंडन करने वाले और पृथ्वी के रमणीय आभूषण हैं। आपके चरणकमल श्री शिव-पार्वती द्वारा स‍ेवित हैं। हे राजाओं के महाराज! मुझे यह वरदान दीजिए कि आपके चरणकमलों में सदा मेरा कल्याणदायक (अनन्य) प्रेम हो।

दोहा-
बिनय कीन्ह चतुरानन प्रेम पुलक अति गात।
सोभासिंधु बिलोकत लोचन नहीं अघात।।

भावार्थ-
इस प्रकार ब्रह्माजी ने अत्यंत प्रेम-पुलकित शरीर से विनती की। शोभा के समुद्र श्रीरामजी के दर्शन करते-करते उनके नेत्र तृप्त ही नहीं होते थे।

तेहि अवसर दसरथ तहँ आए।
तनय बिलोकि नयन जल छाए।।

अनुज सहित प्रभु बंदन कीन्हा।
आसिरबाद पिताँ तब दीन्हा।।

भावार्थ-
उसी समय दशरथजी वहाँ आए।
पुत्र (श्रीरामजी) को देखकर उनके नेत्रों में (प्रेमाश्रुओं का) जल छा गया।
छोटे भाई लक्ष्मणजी सहित प्रभु ने उनकी वंदना की और तब पिता ने उनको आशीर्वाद दिया।

तात सकल तव पुन्य प्रभाऊ।
जीत्यों अजय निसाचर राऊ।।

सुनि सुत बचन प्रीति अति बाढ़ी।
नयन सलिल रोमावलि ठाढ़ी।।

भावार्थ-
(श्रीरामजी ने कहा-) हे तात! यह सब आपके पुण्यों का प्रभाव है, जो मैंने अजेय राक्षसराज को जीत लिया। पुत्र के वचन सुनकर उनकी प्रीति अत्यंत बढ़ गई। नेत्रों में जल छा गया और रोमावली खड़ी हो गई।

रघुपति प्रथम प्रेम अनुमाना।
चितइ पितहि दीन्हेउ दृढ़ ग्याना।।

ताते उमा मोच्छ नहिं पायो।
दसरथ भेद भगति मन लायो।।

भावार्थ-
श्री रघुनाथजी ने पहले के (जीवितकाल के) प्रेम को विचारकर, पिता की ओर देखकर ही उन्हें अपने स्वरूप का दृढ़ ज्ञान करा दिया।
हे उमा! दशरथजी ने भेद-भक्ति में अपना मन लगाया था, इसी से उन्होंने (कैवल्य) मोक्ष नहीं पाया।

सगुनोपासक मोच्छ न लेहीं।
तिन्ह कहुँ राम भगति निज देहीं।।

बार बार करि प्रभुहि प्रनामा।
दसरथ हरषि गए सुरधामा।।

भावार्थ-
(मायारहित सच्चिदानंदमय स्वरूपभूत दिव्यगुणयुक्त) सगुण स्वरूप की उपासना करने वाले भक्त इस प्रकार मोक्ष लेते भी नहीं। उनको श्रीरामजी अपनी भक्ति देते हैं।
प्रभु को (इष्टबुद्धि से) बार-बार प्रणाम करके दशरथजी हर्षित होकर देवलोक को चले गए।

दोहा-
अनुज जानकी सहित प्रभु कुसल कोसलाधीस।
सोभा देखि हरषि मन अस्तुति कर सुर ईस।।

भावार्थ-
छोटे भाई लक्ष्मणजी और जानकीजी सहित परम कुशल प्रभु श्रीकोसलाधीश की शोभा देखकर देवराज इंद्र मन में हर्षित होकर स्तुति करने लगे-

छंद –
जय राम सोभा धाम।
दायक प्रनत बिश्राम।।

धृत त्रोन बर सर चाप।
भुजदंड प्रबल प्रताप।।

भावार्थ-
शोभा के धाम, शरणागत को विश्राम देने वाले, श्रेष्ठ तरकस, धनुष और बाण धारण किए हुए, प्रबल प्रतापी भुज दंडों वाले श्रीरामचंद्रजी की जय हो !

जय दूषनारि खरारि।
मर्दन निसाचर धारि।।

यह दुष्ट मारेउ नाथ।
भए देव सकल नाथ।।

भावार्थ-
हे खरदूषण के शत्रु और राक्षसों की सेना के मर्दन करने वाले! आपकी जय हो! हे नाथ! आपने इस दुष्ट को मारा, जिससे सब देवता सनाथ (सुरक्षित) हो गए।

जय हरन धरनी भार।
महिमा उदार अपार।।

जय रावनारि कृपाल।
किए जातुधान बिहाल।।

भावार्थ-
हे भूमि का भार हरने वाले! हे अपार श्रेष्ठ महिमावाले! आपकी जय हो। हे रावण के शत्रु! हे कृपालु! आपकी जय हो। आपने राक्षसों को बेहाल (तहस-नहस) कर दिया।

लंकेस अति बल गर्ब।
किए बस्य सुर गंधर्ब।।

मुनि सिद्ध नर खग नाग।
हठि पं सब कें लाग।।

भावार्थ-
लंकापति रावण को अपने बल का बहुत घमंड था। उसने देवता और गंधर्व सभी को अपने वश में कर लिया था और वह मुनि, सिद्ध, मनुष्य, पक्षी और नाग आदि सभी के हठपूर्वक (हाथ धोकर) पीछे पड़ गया था।

परद्रोह रत अति दुष्ट।
पायो सो फलु पापिष्ट।।

अब सुनहु दीन दयाल।
राजीव नयन बिसाल।।

भावार्थ-
वह दूसरों से द्रोह करने में तत्पर और अत्यंत दुष्ट था। उस पापी ने वैसा ही फल पाया।
अब हे दीनों पर दया करने वाले! हे कमल के समान विशाल नेत्रों वाले! सुनिए।

मोहि रहा अति अभिमान।
नहिं कोउ मोहि समान।।

अब देखि प्रभु पद कंज।
गत मान प्रद दुख पुंज।।

भावार्थ-
मुझे अत्यंत अभिमान था कि मेरे समान कोई नहीं है, पर अब प्रभु (आप) के चरण कमलों के दर्शन करने से दु:ख समूह का देने वाला मेरा वह अभिमान जाता रहा।

कोउ ब्रह्म निर्गुन ध्याव।
अब्यक्त जेहि श्रुति गाव।।

मोहि भाव कोसल भूप।
श्रीराम सगुन सरूप।।

भावार्थ-
कोई उन निर्गुन ब्रह्म का ध्यान करते हैं जिन्हें वेद अव्यक्त (निराकार) कहते हैं। परंतु हे रामजी! मुझे तो आपका यह सगुण कोसलराज-स्वरूप ही प्रिय लगता है।

बै‍देहि अनुज समेत।
मम हृदयँ करहु निकेत।।

मोहि जानिऐ ‍निज दास।
दे भक्ति रमानिवास।।

भावार्थ-
श्रीजानकीजी और छोटे भाई लक्ष्मणजी सहित मेरे हृदय में अपना घर बनाइए।
हे रमानिवास! मुझे अपना दास समझिए और अपनी भक्ति दीजिए।

छंद-
दे भक्ति रमानिवास त्रास हरन सरन सुखदायकं।
सुख धाम राम नमामि काम अनेक छबि रघुनायकं।।

सुर बृंद रंजन द्वंद भंजन मनुजतनु अतुलितबलं।
ब्रह्मादि संकर सेब्य राम नमामि करुना कोमलं।।

भावार्थ-
हे रमानिवास! हे शरणागत के भय को हरने वाले और उसे सब प्रकार का सुख देने वाले! मुझे अपनी भक्ति दीजिए। हे सुख के धाम! हे अनेकों कामदेवों की छबिवाले रघुकुल के स्वामी श्रीरामचंद्रजी! मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ। हे देवसमूह को आनंद देने वाले, (जन्म-मृत्यु, हर्ष-विषाद, सुख-दु:ख आदि) द्वंद्वों के नाश करने वाले, मनुष्य शरीरधारी, अतुलनीय बलवाले, ब्रह्मा और शिव आदि से सेवनीय, करुणा से कोमल श्रीरामजी! मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ।

दोहा-
अब करि कृपा बिलोकि मोहि आयसु देहु कृपाल।
काह करौं सुनि ‍प्रिय बचन बोले दीनदयाल।।

भावार्थ-
हे कृपालु! अब मेरी ओर कृपा करके (कृपा दृष्टि से) देखकर आज्ञा दीजिए कि मैं क्या (सेवा) करूँ! इंद्र के ये प्रिय वचन सुनकर दीनदयालु श्रीरामजी बोले-

चौपाई-
सुन सुरपति कपि भालु हमारे।
परे भूमि निसिचरन्हि जे मारे।।

मम हित लागि तजे इन्ह प्राना।
सकल जिआउ सुरेस सुजाना।।

भावार्थ-
हे देवराज! सुनो, हमारे वानर-भालू, जिन्हें निशाचरों ने मार डाला है, पृथ्वी पर पड़े हैं।
इन्होंने मेरे हित के लिए अपने प्राण त्याग दिए। हे सुजान देवराज! इन सबको जिला दो।

सुनु खगेस प्रभु कै यह बानी।
अति अगाध जानहिं मुनि ग्यानी।।

प्रभु सक त्रिभुअन मारि जिआई।
केवल सक्रहि दीन्हि बड़ाई।।

भावार्थ;
(काकभुशुण्डिजी कहते हैं -) हे गरुड़! सुनिए प्रभु के ये वचन अत्यंत गहन (गूढ़) हैं।
ज्ञानी मुनि ही इन्हें जान सकते हैं। प्रभु श्रीरामजी त्रिलोकी को मारकर जिला सकते हैं। यहाँ तो उन्होंने केवल इंद्र को बड़ाई दी है।

सुधा बरषि कपि भालु जियाए।
हरषि उठे सब प्रभु पहिं आए।।

सुधाबृष्टि भै दुहु दल ऊपर।
जिए भालु कपि नहिं रजनीचर।।

भावार्थ-
इंद्र ने अमृत बरसाकर वानर-भालुओं को जिला दिया। सब ‍हर्षित होकर उठे और प्रभु के पास आए। अमृत की वर्षा दोनों ही दलों पर हुई। पर रीछ-वानर ही जीवित हुए, राक्षस नहीं।

रामाकार भए तिन्ह के मन।
मुक्त भए छूट भव बंधन।।

सुर अंसिक सब कपि अरु रीछा।
जिए सकल रघुपति कीं ईछा।।

भावार्थ-
क्योंकि राक्षस के मन तो मरते समय रामाकार हो गए थे। अत: वे मुक्त हो गए, उनके भवबंधन छूट गए। किंतु वानर और भालू तो सब देवांश (भगवान् की लीला के परिकर) थे। इसलिए वे सब श्रीरघुनाथजी की इच्छा से जीवित हो गए।

राम सरिस को दीन हितकारी।
कीन्हे मुकुत निसाचर झारी।।

खल मल धाम काम रत रावन।
गति पाई जो मुनिबर पाव न।।

भावार्थ-
श्रीरामचंद्रजी के समान दीनों का हित करने वाला कौन है? जिन्होंने सारे राक्षसों को मुक्त कर दिया! दुष्ट, पापों के घर और कामी रावण ने भी वह गति पाई जिसे श्रेष्ठ मुनि भी नहीं पाते।

दोहा-
सुमन बरषि सब सुर चले चढ़ि चढ़ि रुचिर बिमान।
देखि सुअवसर प्रभु पहिं आयउ संभु सुजान।।

भावार्थ-
फूलों की वर्षा करके सब देवता सुंदर विमानों पर चढ़-चढ़कर चले। तब सुअवसर जानकार सुजान शिवजी प्रभु श्रीरामचंद्रजी के पास आए-

परम प्रीति कर जोरि जुग नलिन नयन भरि बारि।
पुलकित तन गदगद गिराँ बिनय करत त्रिपुरारि।।

भावार्थ-
और परम प्रेम से दोनों हाथ जोड़कर, कमल के समान नेत्रों में जल भरकर, पुलकित शरीर और गद्‍गद्‍ वाणी से त्रिपुरारी शिवजी विनती करने लगे-

छंद-
मामभिरक्षय रघुकुल नायक।
धृत बर चाप रुचिर कर सायक।।

मोह महा घन पटल प्रभंजन।
संसय बिपिन अनल सुर रंजन।।

भावार्थ-
हे रघुकुल के स्वामी! सुंदर हाथों में श्रेष्ठ धनुष और सुंदर बाण धारण किए हुए आप मेरी रक्षा कीजिए।आप महामोहरूपी मेघसमूह के (उड़ाने के) लिए प्रचंड पवन हैं, संशयरूपी वन के (भस्म करने के) लिए अग्नि हैं और देवताओं को आनंद देने वाले हैं।

अगुन सगुन गुन मंदिर सुंदर।
भ्रम तम प्रबल प्रताप दिवाकर।।

काम क्रोध मद गज पंचानन।
बसहु निरंतर जन मन कानन।।

भावार्थ-
आप निर्गुण, सगुण, दिव्य गुणों के धाम और परम सुंदर हैं। भ्रमरूपी अंधकार के (नाश के) लिए प्रबल प्रतापी सूर्य हैं। काम, क्रोध और मदरूपी हाथियों के (वध के) लिए सिंह के समान आप इस सेवक के मनरूपी वन में निरंतर वास कीजिए।

बिषय मनोरथ पुंज कुंज बन।
प्रबल तुषार उदार पार मन।।

भव बारिधि मंदर परमं दर।
बारय तारय संसृति दुस्तर।।

भावार्थ-
विषयकामनाओं के समूह रूपी कमलवन के (नाश के) लिए आप प्रबल पाला हैं, आप उदार और मन से परे हैं। भवसागर (को मथने) के लिए आप मंदराचल पर्वत हैं।
आप हमारे परम भय को दूर कीजिए और हमें दुस्तर संसार सागर से पार कीजिए।

स्याम गात राजीव बिलोचन।
दीन बंधु प्रनतारति मोचन।।

अनुज जानकी सहित निरंतर।
बसहु राम नृप मम उर अंतर।।

मुनि रंजन महि मंडल मंडन।
तुलसिदास प्रभु त्रास बिखंडन।।

भावार्थ-
