आर्यकन्याकी आराध्या

सृष्टिकी सम्पूर्ण पवित्रताकी साकार प्रतिमा निर्दिष्ट करना हो तो कोई भी बिना संकोचके किसी आर्यकुमारीका नाम ले सकता है। मृदुता, सरलता और पवित्रताका वह एकीभाव और उसकी भी आदर्शभूता श्रीजनकनन्दिनी मर्यादापुरुषोत्तमने अवतार धारण किया था धर्मकी मर्यादा स्थापित करनेके लिये । मानव-कर्तव्यके महान् आदर्शोंकी स्थापना करनी थी उन्हें उनकी पराशक्ति, उनसे नित्य अभिन्न श्रीमैथिली उनके इस महान् कार्यकी पूरिका बनीं। उन्होंने नारीके दिव्य आदर्शको मूर्त किया जगत्में ।

आर्यकन्या किसकी आराधना करे ? स्त्रीका उपास्य तो पति है या पति जिसकी आराधनाकी अनुमति दे वह; किंतु कुमारी यदि आराधना करनी चाहे, यदि उसे आराधनाकी आवश्यकता हो और आवश्यकता तो है ही; क्योंकि आराधनाहीन जीवन तो शास्त्रकी दृष्टिमें जीवन ही नहीं, फिर आकाङ्क्षा न हो ऐसा हृदय गिने-चुने ज्ञानियोंका ही तो हो सकता है, किसी बालिकाके मनमें आकाङ्क्षा हो तो वह किस देवताकी शरण ले ? इसका उत्तर सोचना नहीं पड़ता। आर्यकन्याकी आराध्या हँ भगवती उमा। हिंदू बालिका उन गौरीकीही उपासना करती है।

श्रीजनकनन्दिनी तो आयी ही थीं धरापर नारियोंका पथ-प्रदर्शन करने। बालिकाओंको मार्ग दिखाया उन्होंने । उनका गौरी-पूजन; किंतु गौरी-पूजन करने चली थीं वे कोई विशेष संकल्प लेकर नहीं । माताने आदेश दिया था पूजनका और सखियोंके साथ आकर उन्होंने पूजन किया।

‘निज अनुरूप सुभग बर माँगा ।’ परंतु पूजनका फल तत्काल प्रत्यक्ष हो गया। पुष्प वाटिकामें ही श्रीकौसल्यानन्दवर्धन रघुनाथजीके दर्शन हो गये। अपनी निधिको नेत्रोंने देखते ही पहचान लिया और आकाङ्क्षा उद्दीप्त हो उठी। आकाङ्क्षाकी पूर्तिके लिये भी शास्त्रीय मार्ग आराधना ही है और आर्यकन्या तो आराधना भी करेगी तो सतियोंकी आराध्या भगवती पार्वतीकी ही। अतः श्रीजनकनन्दिनी पुनः भगवतीके मन्दिरमें पधारीं । उन्होंने गणेश और स्वामिकार्तिककी जननी उन शम्भुप्रियासे प्रार्थना की। वे प्रार्थना करेंगी और देवी प्रसन्न नहीं होंगी

बिनय प्रेम बस भई भवानी।

खसी माल मूरति मुसुकानी ॥

If one wants to specify the corporeal image of the complete purity of the universe, then one can take the name of any Aryakumari without any hesitation. That unity of softness, simplicity and purity and its ideal too, Shri Janakandini Maryada Purushottam had incarnated to establish the dignity of religion. He had to establish the great ideals of human duty, his Parashakti, Sri Maithili, eternally integral to him, became the complement of his great work. He embodied the divine ideal of woman in the world.
Whom should Aryakanya worship? The worship of a woman is the husband or the one whom the husband allows to worship; But if the virgin wants to worship, if she needs worship and there is a need; Because a life without worship is not life at all in the eyes of the scriptures, then only a few learned people can have such a heart without aspiration, if a girl has aspiration in her mind, then which god should she take refuge in? You don’t have to think about the answer to this. Bhagwati Uma is the worshiper of Aryakanya. A Hindu girl worships that Gauri only.
Srijanakandini had come to earth to guide the women. He showed the way to the girls. His Gauri-worship; But she had gone to worship Gauri, not with any special resolution. Mother had ordered to worship and she came and worshiped with her friends.
‘I asked for good luck according to my own.’ But the result of worship became visible immediately. Had the darshan of Shri Kausalyanandvardhan Raghunathji in the flower garden itself. The eyes recognized their treasure as soon as they saw it and the aspiration got excited. Even for the fulfillment of aspiration, the classical way is worship and even if Aryakanya worships, then the worship of Satis is only of Bhagwati Parvati. That’s why Shri Janaknandini again came to the temple of Bhagwati. He prayed to Shambhupriya, the mother of Ganesha and Swamikartika. they will pray and the goddess will not be pleased
