(9) First President
The incident dates back to the seventeenth century. Some friends were sitting on the shore in northern Virginia when they heard a woman crying and crying. They saw that the child of that woman was being washed away in the river, but no one was jumping to save it. Seeing this, one of the young men immediately jumped into the raging river and risked his life to save the child.
Seeing this bravery of his, the woman said, ‘I cannot repay this favor of yours, but I can pray to God that you get the result of your bravery in the form of fame spread across your world.’ It is possible that it was the result of the true call that emanated from that woman’s inner heart that the young man, whose name was George Washington, went on to become the first President of America.
