हमारे हितकी भाषाका प्रयोग
एक धनी व्यक्तिके घरमें आग लग गयी। बाहर निकलनेका केवल एक दरवाजा था। वहाँ एक कमरे में बहुत-से बच्चे खेल रहे थे। धनी व्यक्तिने कहा- ‘जल्दी बाहर निकलो, आग लग गयी है।’ लेकिन खेलमें मस्त बच्चोंने ध्यान नहीं दिया। तब धनीने जोर-जोरसे चिल्लाकर कहा-‘अगर तुम बाहर नहीं गये तो आगकी चपेटमें आ जाओगे।’ अबकी बार बच्चोंने सुना तो, लेकिन स्थितिकी गम्भीरता फिर भी नहीं समझ सके ।
तब उस धनीने कहा- ‘घरके बाहर मैं गाड़ी-भर खिलौने लाया हूँ। जल्दी जाओ, वरना दूसरे बच्चे चुरा ले जायेंगे।’ तब सारे बच्चे फौरन बाहर दौड़ पड़े।
यहाँ धनी बोधि प्राप्त गुरु हैं और बच्चे साधारण
मानव ।
उच्चस्थिति प्राप्त व्यक्तिद्वारा बताया गया सत्य जब हमारी समझ के परे होता है, तब वह हमारे हितके लिये हमें समझमें आनेवाली भाषाका प्रयोग करता है।
use the language of our interest
A fire broke out in the house of a rich man. There was only one door to exit. There were many children playing in a room. The rich man said- ‘Get out quickly, there is a fire.’ But the children engrossed in the game did not pay attention. Then Dhani shouted loudly – ‘If you don’t go out, you will come in the grip of fire.’ This time the children heard, but still they could not understand the seriousness of the situation.
Then the rich man said- ‘I have brought a cart-load of toys outside the house. Go quickly, otherwise the other children will steal you away.’ Then all the children immediately ran outside.
Here there is a rich enlightened teacher and the children are ordinary
human .
When the truth told by a high status person is beyond our understanding, then he uses the language we can understand for our benefit.
