वर्ष के श्रेष्ठतम दिनों में से एक वैशाख शुक्लपक्ष तृतीया जिसे हम सभी अक्षय तृतीया के नाम से जानते हैं, यह पर्व २२ अप्रैल २०२३ शनिवार को मनाया जाएगा। वेद वाक्य है कि, ‘न क्षयः इति अक्षयः’ अर्थात जिसका क्षय नहीं होता वही अक्षय है।
सनातन धर्म ग्रंथों के अनुसार अक्षय तृतीया, बसंत पंचमी और विजयदशमी सार्वभौमिक रूप से वर्ष के श्रेष्ठतम मुहूर्त हैं। इन मुहूर्तो में किए गए किसी भी तरह के शुभ-अशुभ कार्य का फल निष्फल नहीं होता। अर्थात यदि आप अच्छे कर्म करते हैं तो उसका फल भी अच्छा ही मिलता है।
अप्रियकर्म करते हैं तो वह भी उसी रूप में उम्र भर आपका पीछा करता रहेगा क्योंकि, यह तिथि अक्षुण फल देने वाली है। आपके कर्म शुभ हों या अशुभ उसका परिणाम जीवन पर्यंत मिलता रहेगा। तभी शास्त्रों में कहा गया है कि इन मुहूर्तो में हर प्राणी को अपने कार्य के प्रति चैतन्य रहना चाहिए।
पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस दिन स्नान, दान, जप, होम, स्वाध्याय, तर्पण तथा किसी भी तरह का दान-पुण्य आदि जो भी कर्म किए जाते हैं, वे सब अक्षय पुण्यप्रद हो जाते हैं। यह तिथि सम्पूर्ण पापों का नाश करने वाली एवं सभी सुखों को प्रदान करने वाली मानी गई है। यदि इस दिन रोहिणी नक्षत्र और बुधवार का दिन हो तो यह और भी अमोघफल देने वाली हो जाती है। संयोगवश बुधवार न हो तो बुध की होरा को भी ग्रहण किया जा सकता है।
अक्षय तृतीया पर्व का महत्व
वर्तमान ‘कल्प’ में मानव कल्याण हेतु मां पार्वती ने इस तिथि को बनाया और अपनी शक्ति प्रदान करके कीलित कर दिया। मां कहती हैं कि जो भी प्राणी सब प्रकार के सांसारिक सुख-ऐश्वर्य चाहते हैं उन्हें ‘इस तृतीया’ का व्रत अवश्य करना चाहिए।
इस दिन व्रती को नमक नहीं खाना चाहिए। व्रत की महिमा बताते हुए मां कहती हैं कि यही व्रत करके मैं प्रत्येक जन्म में भगवान शिव के साथ आनंदित रहती हूं। उत्तम पति की प्राप्ति के लिए भी हर कुंवारी कन्या को यह व्रत करना चाहिए। जिनको संतान की प्राप्ति नहीं हो रही हो वे भी यह व्रत करके संतान सुख ले सकती हैं। देवी इंद्राणी ने यही व्रत करके ‘जयंत’ नामक पुत्र प्राप्त किया था। देवी अरुंधती भी यही व्रत करके अपने पति महर्षि वशिष्ठ के साथ आकाश में सबसे ऊपर का स्थान प्राप्त कर सकी थीं। प्रजापति दक्ष की पुत्री रोहिणी ने यह व्रत करके अपने पति चन्द्रदेव की सबसे प्रिय रहीं। उन्होंने बिना नमक खाए यह व्रत किया था।
इस परम सिद्धिदायक अबूझ मुहूर्त में भूमि पूजन, व्यापार आरम्भ करना, गृह प्रवेश, पुष्य नक्षत्र की अनुपस्थिति में वैवाहिक कार्य, यज्ञोपवीत संस्कार, नए अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर तथा नामकरण आदि जैसे सभी तरह के मांगलिक कार्य किये जा सकते हैं। प्राणियों को इस दिन भगवान विष्णु और मां श्रीमहालक्ष्मी की प्रतिमा पर गंध, चन्दन, अक्षत, पुष्प, धूप, दीप नैवैद्य आदि से पूजा करनी चाहिए। भगवान विष्णु को गंगाजल और अक्षत से स्नान कराएं, तो मनुष्य को राजसूय यज्ञ के फल की प्राप्ति होती है।
शास्त्रों के अनुसार प्राणी अक्षय तृतीया पर अपनी-अपनी राशि के अनुसार इन मंत्रों का जप करके मां पार्वती की असीम कृपा प्राप्त कर सकता है।
मेष- ॐ सृष्टि रूपायै नमः।
बृषभ- ॐ शक्ति रूपायै नमः।
मिथुन- ॐ अन्नपूर्णायै नमः।
कर्क- ॐ वेद रूपायै नमः।
सिंह- ॐ गौर्यै नमः।
कन्या ॐ काल्यै नमः।
तुला- ॐ शंकरप्रियायै नमः।
वृश्चिक- ॐ विश्वधारिण्यै नमः।
धनु- ॐ पार्वत्यै नमः।
मकर- ॐ उमायै नमः।
कुम्भ- ॐ कोटर्यै नमः।
मीन- ॐ गंगादेव्यै नमो नमः।
मंत्र का जप रुद्राक्षमाला, श्वेत मोतियों, काले मोतियों, केरुवा, कमलगट्टे, तुलसी, लाल चंदन तथा श्वेत चंदन आदि की माला से किया जा सकता है। इनमें से किसी भी माला से किया गया जप अमोघ रहता है, यदि माला उपलब्ध न हो तो करमाला से भी जप सम्पन किया जा सकता है।

One of the best days of the year, Vaishakh Shuklapaksha Tritiya, which we all know as Akshaya Tritiya, will be celebrated on Saturday, 22 April 2023. Vedas say, ‘Na Kshaya: Iti Akshay:’ which means that which does not decay is Akshay.
According to Sanatan Dharma texts, Akshaya Tritiya, Basant Panchami and Vijayadashami are universally the best auspicious times of the year. Any kind of auspicious or inauspicious work done in these Muhurtas does not fructify. That is, if you do good deeds, then you also get good results.
If you do bad deeds, then he will also follow you in the same form throughout your life because this date is going to give unbroken results. Whether your deeds are auspicious or inauspicious, you will get the result till your lifetime. That’s why it has been said in the scriptures that every living being should be aware of his work in these moments.
According to mythological beliefs, whatever deeds are done on this day like bathing, charity, chanting, home, self-study, tarpan and any kind of charity, they all become renewable virtuous. This date is considered to destroy all sins and bestow all happiness. If this day is Rohini Nakshatra and it is a Wednesday, then it becomes even more fruitful. Coincidentally, if it is not Wednesday, the Hora of Mercury can also be taken.
Significance of Akshaya Tritiya festival In the present ‘Kalpa’, Mother Parvati made this date for the welfare of human beings and by giving her power, made it special. Mother says that all the creatures who want all kinds of worldly happiness and opulence must observe the fast of ‘this Tritiya’.
On this day fasting should not eat salt. Describing the glory of the fast, the mother says that by observing this fast, I remain happy with Lord Shiva in every birth. Every unmarried girl should observe this fast to get the best husband. Those who are not able to get children can also take this fast and get the happiness of children. Goddess Indrani got a son named ‘Jayant’ by observing this fast. Goddess Arundhati was also able to attain the topmost position in the sky by observing this fast along with her husband Maharishi Vashishtha. Rohini, the daughter of Prajapati Daksha, observed this fast and became the most beloved of her husband Chandradev. He observed this fast without eating salt.
All kinds of auspicious works like Bhoomi Poojan, starting a business, house warming, matrimonial work in the absence of Pushya Nakshatra, sacrificial rituals, signing of new contracts and naming etc. can be done in this supremely accomplished Abujh Muhurta. On this day the living beings should worship the idol of Lord Vishnu and Mother Srimahalakshmi with gandha, sandalwood, akshat, flowers, dhoop, lamp naivedya etc. If Lord Vishnu is bathed with Gangajal and Akshat, then man gets the fruit of Rajasuya Yagya.
According to the scriptures, by chanting these mantras on Akshaya Tritiya according to their zodiac sign, a person can get the immense blessings of Mother Parvati.

The mantra can be chanted with rosary of Rudrakshamala, white beads, black beads, keruwa, kamalgatta, tulsi, red sandalwood and white sandalwood etc. Chanting done with any of these garlands remains effective, if the garland is not available then chanting can also be done with Karmala.
