Sita Navami 2023 : प्रभु श्री राम की “प्रिय” सीता जी को जानकी नाम से भी पुकारा जाता है। हिन्दू धर्म में “Sita Navami” के पावन दिवस का बड़ा महत्व है। वैशाख माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी तिथि के दिन माता सीता का जन्म हुआ था। इस शुभ दिवस को जानकी जयंती और जानकी नवमी भी कहा जाता है। सीता माता को देवी लक्ष्मी का अवतार कहा गया है। द्वापर युग में श्री राम की पत्नी बनी सीता नें अपने जीवनकाल में बहुत कष्ट उठाए।
राजा जनक की लाडली पुत्री सीता को विवाह के कुछ ही समय बाद 14 वर्ष का वनवास सहना पड़ा, मंथरा के बहकावे में आ कर दशरथ राजा की एक रानी “कैकई” अपने पुत्र भरत को अयोध्या का राजा बनाना चाहती थी, इसीलिए उसने दशरथ से वचन के नाम पर राम के लिए वनवास मांगा था, तब देवी सीता के पास 14 साल अपने पिता के पास चले जाने का अवसर था लेकिन उन्होंने पतिव्रता नारी का उदहारण पेश करते हुए श्री राम के साथ वन जाना चुना, वनवास के दौरान अनेक कष्ट सहे, फिर रावण द्वारा उनका हरण और अशोक वाटिका में भयंकर राक्षसियों के बीच रहना, फिर राम-रावण युद्ध के बाद अयोध्या लौट कर श्री राम द्वारा त्यागे जाना, जीवनभर इतने कष्ट सहने के बाद भी धैर्य और समर्पण का परिचय देना, यह केवल माता सीता ही कर सकती थीं।

सीता नवमी पूजा के लाभ
इस दिन जानकी माता की पूजा करने से मनोकामनाएँ पूर्ण होती हैं। जिन लोगों का जीवन कष्ट में बीत रहा है उन्हें अपनी पीड़ा से मुक्ति मिलती है। जानकी माता को त्याग और समर्पण की देवी भी कहा जाता है इस लिए उनकी पूजा करने वाले पात्र में भी यह दैवीय गुण उतर आते हैं। जब किसी व्यक्ति में परोपकार, त्याग, सेवाभाव, प्रेम, समर्पर्ण, सहानभूति, विश्वास और सद्भाव का संचार होता है तो कलेश, इर्षा, घमंड, नफरत, द्वेष, रोष और अविश्वास जैसे दूषण समाप्त हो जाते हैं। फिर उसकी समृद्धि और सुख शांति का दौर आने लगता है। इसके आलावा मानसिक व्यथा से पीड़ित पात्र और असाध्य रोगों से त्रस्त व्यक्ति को भी सीता नवमी व्रत से राहत और मुक्ति मिलती है।
सीता जयंती पूजन विधि
सीता जयंती के पावन दिवस पर पूजा और व्रत करने वाले जातक सुबह के समय ब्रह्ममुहूर्त में उठकर स्नान कर लें, उसके पश्चात सच्चे मन से व्रत और पूजा का संकल्प करें । इसके बाद एक चौकी पर साफ सुतरा लाल कपड़ा बिछा लें, फिर माता सीता और भगवान श्री राम की तस्वीर या मूर्ति उस पर बिराजमान कर दें । इसके बाद पूरी जगह को गंगजल के छिडकाव से शुद्ध करें।
अब देवी सीता का श्रृंगार करके सुहाग का सामान अर्पित करें । इसके बाद रोली, माला, फूल, चावल, धूप, दीप, फल व मिष्ठान अर्पित करें। माता सीता को प्रसन्न करने के लिए पूजा विधि में पीले रंग के फूल का इस्तमाल करना चाहिए। तिल के तेल या गाय के घी से दीपक जलाएं और फिर माता की आरती उतारें। इसके बाद 108 बार माता सीता के मंत्रों का जप करें और सीता चालीसा का पाठ करें। शाम के समय भी माता सीता की पूजा करें और दान जरूर करें।
देवी के सीता जन्म की कथा
महर्षि वाल्मीकि रचित रामायण अनुसार सीता जनक राजा को जमीन के नीचे से मिली थीं। कथा अनुसार एक बार मिथिला में अकाल पड़ गया, ऋषियों नें जनक राजा को यज्ञ करने की सलाह दी, ताकि वर्षा हो और प्रजा का कष्ट दूर हो जाए। यज्ञ समाप्ति के उपरांत जनक राजा नें अपने हाथों से हल जोतने का निश्चय किया, उसी समय उन्हें जमीन में धसे एक पात्र से एक सुंदर कन्या मिली, जनक राजा नें उसे अपनी पुत्री के रूप में स्वीकार किया।
उस समय जनक राजा को और कोई संतान नहीं थी, हल का एक हिस्सा जिसे सित कहते हैं, उसी से वह पात्र टकराया जिसमें बालिका सीता थीं, इस लिए उनका नाम “सीता” रखा गया। वह जनक पुत्री बनी इस लिए “जानकी” कही गयीं।

जनक राजा की पुत्री सीता है यह बात सब जानते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें वैदेही किस कारण कहते हैं यह बात सब नहीं जानते। दरअसल राजा जनक का नाम मिथि अथवा विदेह रखा गया था। जिसकी कथा इस प्रकार है…
एक बार महा यज्ञ अनुष्ठान के लिए उद्दत नरेश निमि ने ब्रह्मर्षि वशिष्ठ को आमंत्रित किया। लेकिन ब्रह्मर्षि इस निमंत्रण को अनदेखा कर इंद्र का यज्ञ संपन्न करने के लिए चले गए। जिस पर निमि नें मृगु आदि मुनियों की मदद ले कर अपना यज्ञ पूरा किया।
कुल 500 वर्षों के पश्चात ब्रह्मर्षि वशिष्ठ इंद्र लोक से वापिस लौटे, तब निमि के इस कृत्य पर वह बहुत क्रोधित हुए और उन्होंने निमि को विदेह अर्थात मृत हो जाने का श्राप दे दिया। ब्रह्मर्षि वशिष्ठ के इस भयानक शाप का असर हुआ तो प्रजा में अराजकता फैलने लगी। इस विकट समस्या के समाधान के लिए ऋषियों ने मिल कर निमि के श्रापित मृत शरीर का मंथन किया। उसी मंथन से एक शिशु उत्पन्न हुआ जो विदेह कहा गया, बाद में उन्ही का नाम राजा जनक हुआ। इस तरह जनक राजा (विदेह) की पुत्री “वैदेही” कही गई।

सीता नवमी व्रत की महिमा दर्शाती लघु कथा
मारवाड़ राज्य में देवदत्त नाम का एक प्रामाणिक ज्ञानी ब्राह्मण रहता था। उसकी भारिया शोभना अति सुंदर थी, ब्राह्मण जब आजीविका चलाने के लिए भिक्षा मांगने दूर देश जाता तो उसकी पत्नी गलत संगत में फस गई, वह व्यभिचारिणी बन गई। जब उसका परदा फाश हुआ तो उसने दुष्ट के साथ मिल कर पूरे गाँव को जलवा दिया। इस तरह ब्राह्मणी ने अपना सारा जीवन पाप कर्मों में लिप्त हो कर बिताया।
पति से धोखा किया इस लिए अगले जन्म वह चांडाल के घर जन्मी। निर्दोष गाँव वालों को कष्ट दिया इस लिए उसे भीषण कुष्ठ रोग हुआ। पूर्व जन्म में व्यभिचार आचरण के फल स्वरूप वह अंधी भी हो गई। इस तरह वह दर दर भटकने और असह्य कष्ट उठाने को मजबूर हुईं।
एक दिन वह कैलाशपूरी पहुंची। भाग्य से यह दिन वैशाख माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी का था। जानकी जयंती के दिन वह हाथ फैला कर भोजन की भीख मांगने लगी।
गिरते पड़ते वह कनक भवन के पास स्थित हज़ार पुष्प जड़ित स्तंभों से होती हुई अंदर आ पहुंची, वह बार कुछ खाने को मांग रही थी।
वहां मौजूद एक श्रद्धालु भक्त ने उसे कहा, आज भोजन अन्न दान से पाप लगता है, कल भर पेट प्रसाद मिलेगा। यह बोल कर उसने दया करते हुए उसे तुलसी का पान और थोड़ा जल दिया। कुछ समय बाद भूख की मारी वह पापिन मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुई। लेकिन अनजाने में ही उससे सीता नवमी का व्रत पूर्ण हो गया।
जिसके फल स्वरूप वह पाप मुक्त हुई, उसे स्वर्गलोक में रहने को मिला। फिर अगले जन्म वह कामरूप देश के महाराजा जय सिंह की रानी बनी। इस तरह माता सीता की असीम कृपा से उसके समस्त रोग दोष और पापों का नाश हुआ और सद्गति मिली।

रावण द्वारा वेदवती का अपमान
हिमालय की यात्रा के दौरान लंका नरेश रावण की दृष्टि वेदवती पर पड़ी, वह अत्यंत सुदर थी, फिर भी वह अविवाहित थी। रावण ने उससे इस बात का रहस्य पुछा तब वेदवती ने कहा, मेरे पिता ब्रह्मऋषि कुशध्वज चाहते थे की मेरा विवाह त्रिलोक के स्वामी विष्णु से हो, यह बात जान कर एक राक्षस क्रोधित हुआ, वह मुझसे विवाह करना चाहता था। इसी लिए उसने मेरे माता-पिता का वध कर दिया। इसी लिए मैंने अब तपस्या का रास्ता चुना है।
यह कहानी सुन कर पहले तो रावण नें वेदवती को बहलना फुसलाना शुरू किया, लेकिन वेदवती जब नहीं मानी तो उसने उसके बाल पकड़ लिए, उसी क्षण वेदवती ने अपने बाल काट लिए और शाप देते हुए कहा, की तूने इस वन में मेरा अपमान किया है, मैं सतयुग के बाद त्रेता युग में फिर आऊंगी और तेरे अंत का कारण बनूंगी।
इस तरह त्रेता युग में फिर रावण सीता के रूप में जन्मी वेदवती पर मोहित हुआ, छल से उसका हरण किया और विष्णु भगवान के रामा अवतार के हाथों मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुआ।
देवी सीता और श्री राम का वियोग : तोते के श्राप की कहानी
बालिका सीता एकबार सहेलियों संग बगीचे में खेल रही थीं। वहीँ पेड़ पर नर-मादा तोते का जोड़ा सीता-राम के भविष्य की बात कर रहे थे, जो उन्होंने महर्षि वाल्मीकि के आश्रम से सुनी थी। उत्सुक बालिका सीता मादा तोते से अपने और राम के बारे में और बातें जानना चाहती थीं, लेकिन तोते के जोड़े नें उनके साथ महल जाने से मना किया, उन्होंने कहा हमें उन्मुक्त गगन में रहना पसंद आता है।
इस बात से नाराज बालिका सीता ने गर्भवती मादा तोता को जबरन अपने पास रख लिया, और नर तोता को आजाद कर दिया। ताकि वह अपने भविष्य के बारे में मादा तोता से और बातें जान सके। नर तोता अपनी साथी के वियोग में मर गया। इस बात से दुखी मादा तोता ने बालिका सीता को शाप दिया की, वह बोली… जिस तरह तुमने मुझे इस तोते से दूर किया, तुम्हे भी गर्भावस्था के समय पति वियोग सहना होगा।
बताया जाता है कि अगले जन्म में तोता वही धोबी था, जिसने माता सीता के चरित्र पर उंगली उठाई थी, जिसके बाद भगवान राम ने सीता का गर्भावस्था के दौरान त्याग कर दिया। तब माता सीता महर्षि वाल्मीकि के आश्रम पहुंची और वहां उन्होंने लव-कुश को जन्म दिया।

अद्भुत रामायण अनुसार रावण मंदोदरी की पुत्री सीता
अद्भुत रामायण अनुसार रावण नें कहा, जब भूल वश में अपनी पुत्री से प्रणय की इच्छा करु तब मेरी मृत्यु आए। इसी ग्रंथ में कहा गया है कि एक समय गृत्स्मद नामक ब्राह्मण लक्ष्मी को पुत्री स्वरूप में पाने के लिए एक कलश में कुश के अग्र भाग से मंत्रोच्चार के साथ दूध की बूंदे प्रवाहित किया करते थे। एक दिन वहां राक्षस राज रावण आया और उसने वहां सभी मुनियों को मार कर उनका थोड़ा थोड़ा रक्त उस कलश में भर लिया, फिर वह उसे ले कर अपनी रानी मंदोदरी के पास पहुंचा, उसने कहा, इसमें बहुत तीक्षण विष है, इसे संभाल कर रखना।
अपने दुराचारी पति की उपेक्षा से त्रस्त मंदोदरी ने अकेले में वह सारा रक्त विष जान कर पी लिया। इसी से वह गर्भवती हो गई। उसे समझ नहीं आया की वह क्या करे, रावण को क्या जवाब दे।
जब रावण सह्याद्रि पर्वत पर गया तो गर्भवती मंदोदरी तीर्थ यात्रा को निकल गई। वह कुरु क्षेत्र पहुंची जहां उसने अपने गर्भ को एक घड़े में रख दिया। और घड़ा ज़मीन में दफ़न कर दिया। उसके बाद वह सरस्वती नदी में स्नान कर के वापिस लंका नगरी लौट आईं।
कहा जाता है कि वही घड़ा, जनक राजा को हल चलाते समय मिला, जिसमें से सीता माता प्रकट हुईं, और रावण की कही बात अनुसार वह उसके मृत्यु का कारण भी बनी।
सीता नवमी के दिन सुख शांति के उपाय
विवाह : शादी संबंध में विघ्न आ रहे हैं तो श्री राम और सीता दोनों की पूजा करनी चाहिए, ऐसा करने से यह विघ्न अति शिग्र समाप्त होगा।
इच्छा : अगर किसी अच्छे काम की आस है और वह किसी भी तरीके से परिपूर्ण नहीं हो रहा है तो, शाम के समय रुद्राक्ष माला से “श्री जानकी रामाभ्यां नमः” का जाप करने से कार्य सिद्ध होता है।
कलेश निवारण : दंपत्ति में आयेदिन जगड़े होते रहते हैं तो घर में राम-सीता की छवि या बड़े चित्र लगवाएं। ऐसा करने स पति पत्नी के रिश्तों में चमत्कारिक सुधार देखने को मिलेगा।
गरीबी निवारण : अगर घर में पैसों की किल्लत बनी रहती है तो, सीता नवमी की शाम को रामायण का पाठ करें, यह अनुष्ठान सुख-समृद्धि दायक है।
रक्षा : जिन महिलाओं को किसी भी कारण से पति की चिंता सताती रहती है उन्हें जानकी नवमी के दिन शाम को माता सीता की मांग (छवि में) 7 बार सिंदूर लगाना चाहिए फिर उसे अपनी मांग से छुआएं।
पतिव्रत : भगवान श्री राम ने एक पत्नी व्रत लिया था, उनकी कोई और रानी नहीं थी, इस लिए अच्छे पति की कामना करने वाली कन्याओं को सीता नवमी के दिन व्रत अवश्य रखना चाहिए।

In the state of Marwar, there lived an authentically learned Brahmin named Devadatta. His wife Shobhana was very beautiful, when the Brahmin used to go to a distant country to beg for alms, his wife got trapped in the wrong company, she became an adulteress.
