नगर से सैकड़ों कोस दूर सुदूर वन में तपस्या कर रहे उस वृद्ध ऋषि ने दूर उस निश्चित स्थान की ओर दृष्टि डाली, जहाँ वर्षों पहले उन्होंने राक्षसों द्वारा मार दिए गए असंख्य ऋषियों की जूठी अस्थियां इकट्ठी की थी। अस्थियों का ढेर अब भी जस का तस पड़ा था। उनके मुस्कुराते अधर लटक गए, आंखों में जल उतर आया…….उन्होंने अपने आसन पर ही खड़े हो कर दोनों हाथ हवा में लहराया और आकाश की ओर मुँह घुमा कर कहा- “अब आ भी जाओ राम! युगों युगों से तुम्हारी राह निहारते इस शरभंग की बूढ़ी हड्डियां अब थक चुकी हैं। यह नश्वर शरीर, अब और प्रतीक्षा नहीं कर सकता। तुम आओ तो मैं जा सकूँ…” *आकाश में खड़े सूर्य देव ने सुना, उसी क्षण लगभग ऐसी ही प्रार्थना उस भीलनी की कुटिया से आ रही थी। ऐसी ही प्रार्थना के स्वर गूंजे थे अहिल्या के उजाड़ गृह से, ऐसी ही प्रार्थना गूंजी थी महर्षि विश्वामित्र के विद्यालय में... ऐसी ही प्रार्थना समग्र आर्यावर्त के वायुमंडल में तैर रही थी। सूर्यदेव मुस्कुरा उठे। मन ही मन कहा,"महाराज दशरथ तो ईश्वर से केवल पुत्र मांग रहे हैं, काश कि वे जान पाते कि समस्त संसार ईश्वर से उनके लिए क्या मांग रहा है।"* *महर्षि शरभंग के सामने जैसे किसी अदृश्य शक्ति ने कहा, " हर पीड़ा एक दिन समाप्त होती है, हर तपस्या एक दिन पूरी होती है, हर शरभंग को एक दिन उनके राम मिल ही जाते हैं। मुस्कुराइये महर्षि! आज चैत्र शुक्लपक्ष की नवमी है, वह आ गया है...राम आ गया है।" सुख-दुख, हर्ष-विषाद की अर्गला से बहुत पहले मुक्त हो चुके ऋषि हँस पड़े।*
समस्त संसार में वह अनकहा वाक्य गूँज उठा- “वह आ गया है…….राम आ गया है!”
राम के आने का या राम होने तात्पर्य जानते हैं आप? राम होने का अर्थ सभ्यता को एक नए नायक का मिलना जिसका अनुसरण कर सभ्यता रामत्व को प्राप्त करे। राम होने का अर्थ मर्यादा की स्थापना है। राम होने का अर्थ समुद्र में भी सेतु बाँधकर संस्कारित प्रणय को प्रतिष्ठित करना है। राम होने का अर्थ प्रेम को एकल पत्नी व्रत के साथ परिभाषित करना है। राम होने का अर्थ एक वंचित निषाद से, शोषित सुग्रीव से, तिरस्कृत विभीषण से मित्रता करना है। राम होने का अर्थ सघन तरूवरों में कोसों कोस चलकर उस भीलनी के समीप इसलिए जाना ताकि किसी गुरुदेव का दिया वचन व्यर्थ न हो। राम होने का अर्थ माँ की अवांछनीय इच्छा को और पिता के वचन को आशीर्वाद समझकर शिरोधार्य करना है। राम होने का अर्थ ताड़का का सुधार, अहिल्या का उद्धार, सीता का श्रृंगार तो सुपर्णखा का तिरस्कार, हर स्त्री से समूचित व्यवहार है। राम होना जहाँ लंकेश संहार के उपरांत शौर्य की पराकाष्ठा तो वहीं लंका को जस का तस छोड़ आना, मर्यादा की पुनर्स्थापना है। राम होने का अर्थ आज के युग में उस विश्वास का आना है जो कभी अपनी मिट्टी, संस्कृति और देश से उखड़ रहे लोगों के लिए सुरक्षा की प्रत्याभूति है, वह विश्वास के साथ कह सके कि ‘मेरे साथ मेरे राम हैं’। यूं ही नहीं बनता कोई राम…. यूं ही नहीं बनता कोई पुरुषोत्तम।
अभिवादन के ‘राम-राम’ से लेकर शौर्य के ‘जय श्री राम’ तक, रोम-रोम में तुम ही तुम हो राम…..और कितना लिखूँ? बस अपनी अनुकंपा बनाए रखना प्रभु।🙏
Hundreds of miles away from the city, the old sage, doing penance in a remote forest, looked at a certain spot in the distance, where years ago he had collected the false bones of innumerable sages killed by demons. The pile of bones was still lying as it was. His smiling lips were hanging, water came down in his eyes….He stood on his seat, waved both his hands in the air and turned his face towards the sky and said- “Come now Ram! Sharbhang’s old bones are tired now. This mortal body, can’t wait any longer. If you come, I can go…” Was. Similar prayers echoed from the desolate house of Ahilya, similar prayers resounded in Maharishi Vishwamitra’s school… Such prayers were floating in the atmosphere of the entire Aryavarta. Suryadev smiled. My heart said, “Maharaj Dasharatha is only asking God for a son, I wish he could know what the whole world is asking God for him.” Pain ends one day, every austerity is fulfilled one day, every sharbhang gets his Ram one day. Smile Maharishi! Today is the Navami of Chaitra Shuklapaksha, he has come…Ram has come.” The sages, who had long ago been freed from the cycle of joy and sorrow, laughed.
The unsaid sentence resounded all over the world – “He has come….Ram has come!”

The meaning of being Ram is the establishment of dignity. The meaning of being Ram is to build a bridge across the sea and establish a cultured love. Being Ram means defining love with single wife vow. To be Ram means to befriend a destitute Nishad, an exploited Sugriva, a scorned Vibhishana. The meaning of being Ram is to go near that Bhilni by walking curses in dense trees so that the promise given by any Gurudev does not go in vain. The meaning of being Ram is to accept the unwanted wish of the mother and the promise of the father as a blessing. The meaning of being Ram is Tadka’s reform, Ahilya’s salvation, Sita’s makeup and Suparnakha’s disdain, proper treatment of every woman. Being Ram is the pinnacle of bravery after killing Lankesh, while leaving Lanka as it is, is the restoration of dignity. The meaning of being Ram is the arrival of that faith in today’s era which is the guarantee of security for the people who were once uprooted from their soil, culture and country, they can say with confidence that ‘My Ram is with me’. No one becomes Ram just like that…. No one becomes Purushottam just like that.
From ‘Ram-Ram’ of greetings to ‘Jai Shri Ram’ of bravery, you are Ram in every rom… how much more should I write? Just keep your kindness Lord.🙏
