‘अध्यात्म रामायण’ कहती है कि एक रात जब माता कैकेयी सोती हैं तो उनके स्वप्न में विप्र, धेनु, सुर, संत सब एक साथ हाथ जोड़ के आते हैं और उनसे कहते हैं कि ‘हे माता कैकेयी, हम सब आपकी शरण में हैं। महाराजा दशरथ की बुद्धि जड़ हो गयी है तभी वो राम को राजा का पद दे रहे हैं। अगर प्रभु राजगद्दी पर बैठ गए तब उनके अवतार लेने का मूल कारण ही नष्ट हो जायेगा। माता, सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी पर सिर्फ आपमें ही ये साहस है की आप राम से जुड़े अपयश का विष पी सकती हैं। कृपया प्रभु को जंगल भेज के सुलभ करिये, युगों-युगों से कई लोग उद्धार होने की प्रतीक्षा में हैं। त्रिलोकस्वामी का उद्देश्य भूलोक का राजा बनना नहीं है। अगर वनवास ना हुआ तो राम इस लोक के ‘प्रभु’ ना हो पाएंगे माता।’ ये कहते-कहते देवता घुटनों पर आ गए।
माता कैकेयी के आँखों से आँसू बहने लगे। माता बोलीं – ‘आने वाले युगों में लोग कहेंगे कि मैंने भरत के लिए राम को छोड़ दिया लेकिन असल में मैं राम के लिए आज भरत का त्याग कर रही हूँ। मुझे मालूम है इस निर्णय के बाद भरत मुझे कभी स्वीकार नहीं करेगा।’
रामचरित मानस में भी कई जगहों पर इसका संकेत मिलता है जब गुरु वशिष्ठ दुःखी भरत से कहते हैं –
सुनहु भरत भावी प्रबल बिलखि कहेउ मुनिनाथ।
हानि लाभु जीवनु मरनु जसु अपजसु बिधि हाथ।
हे भरत ! सुनो भविष्य बड़ा बलवान् है। हानि-लाभ, जीवन-मरण और यश-अपयश, ये सब विधाता के ही हाथ में है, बीच में केवल माध्यम आते हैं।
प्रभु इस लीला को जानते थे इसीलिए चित्रकूट में तीनों माताओं के आने पर प्रभु सबसे पहले माता कैकेयी के पास ही पहुँच कर प्रणाम करते हैं क्यूंकि उनको पैदा करने वाली भले ही कौशल्या जी थीं लेकिन उनको ‘मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम’ बनाने वाली माता कैकेयी ही थीं। 🙏 🌹जय श्री राम🌹 🙏
‘Adhyatma Ramayana’ says that one night when Mother Kaikeyi sleeps, Vipra, Dhenu, Sur, Saints all come together in her dream with folded hands and say to her that ‘O Mother Kaikeyi, we all are in your shelter. Maharaja Dasharatha’s intellect has become inert, that’s why he is giving the position of king to Ram. If the Lord sits on the throne, then the very reason behind his incarnation will be destroyed. Mother, you are the only one on the whole earth who has the courage to drink the poison of infamy associated with Ram. Please send the Lord to the forest and make it accessible, many people have been waiting for salvation for ages. The aim of Trilokaswami is not to become the king of Bhuloka. If there is no exile, then Ram will not be able to be the ‘Lord’ of this world, mother.’ Saying this, the gods came down on their knees.
Tears started flowing from the eyes of Mother Kaikeyi. Mother said – ‘ In the ages to come people will say that I left Ram for Bharat but in reality I am sacrificing Bharat today for Ram. I know Bharat will never accept me after this decision.
This is also indicated in many places in Ramcharit Manas when Guru Vashishtha says to the grieving Bharata – Sunhu Bharat Bhavi Prabal Bilkhi Kaheu Muninath. Hari Labhu Jeevnu Marnu Jasu Apajasu Bidhi Haath. Hey Bharat! Listen, the future is very strong. Loss-gain, life-death and fame-failure, all these are in the hands of the creator, only mediums come in between.
The Lord knew this Leela, that’s why when all the three mothers come to Chitrakoot, the Lord first reaches and bows down to Mother Kaikeyi because even though Kaushalya ji was the one who gave birth to them, it was Mother Kaikeyi who made them ‘Maryada Purushottam’. 🙏 🌹Jai Shri Ram🌹 🙏
