पिताका आशीर्वाद नहीं समझा
एक युवक स्नातककी पढ़ाई कर रहा था। उसकी इच्छा थी कि पढ़ाई पूरी होनेपर, स्नातक-दिवसपर उसके पिता उसे एक स्पोर्ट्स कार उपहारमें दें। उसके पिता आर्थिक रूपसे समर्थ थे। आखिर वह दिन आया, जिसका वह बेसब्री से इन्तजार कर रहा था। वह उस कारके सपने देख रहा था, जो उसके पिता उसे खरीदकर देनेवाले थे। उसने अपने पितासे और कुछ भी तो नहीं माँगा था।
स्नातक-दिवसपर उसके पिताने पुत्रको अपने कमरेमें बुलाया और कहा कि उन्हें अपने पुत्रपर गर्व है। उन्होंने एक सुन्दर उपहारका पैकेट रंगीन, चमकीले आवरणसे सजा अपने पुत्रके हाथमें बड़े प्यारसे थमाया। पुत्र इस डिब्बेको देखकर निराश हुआ। उसने पैकेट खोलकर देखा कि एक सजिल्द बाइबिलकी किताब है और उसपर स्वर्णिम अक्षरोंमें उसका नाम अंकित है। वह आगबबूला हो गया और उसने अपने पितासे जोरसे कहा- ‘क्या आप अपने पैसोंसे यही देना चाहते थे ?’ इतना कहकर वह घरसे बाहर निकल गया। उसने फिर मुड़कर भी पीछे नहीं देखा।
कई साल बीत गये। वह अपने कारोबारमें व्यस्त रहा। उसने एक सुन्दर मकान बनाया और अपने परिवार के साथ आनन्दसे रहने लगा। एक दिन उसे अपने पिताकी याद आयी तो सोचा कि वे बूढ़े हो गये होंगे, उसे उनके पास जाना चाहिये। स्नातक-दिवसके बाद उनको देखा ही नहीं। वह पितासे मिलनेके लिये जानेकी तैयारी करने लगा, तभी उसे एक तार मिला कि उसके पिताका देहान्त हो गया है और वसीयतमें उन्होंने सब कुछ अपने पुत्रके नाम लिख दिया है। उसे अपने गाँव जाकर सब कुछ अपने अधिकारमें लेना है।
जब वह अपने घर पहुँचा तो उसे बहुत दुःख हुआ, उसका हृदय भर आया। उसने अपने पिताके कागजात ढूँढ़े, तो उसमें उसे वह बाइबिलकी किताब नजर आयी उसी स्थितिमें। उसकी आँखोंमें आँसू आ गये। वह उस किताबके पन्ने पलटने लगा, तभी एक कारकी चाबी किताबके पीछेवाले कवरसे गिरी। चाबीके
साथ संलग्न एक चिटपर डीलरका नाम, स्नातक दिवसकी तारीख, बिल भुगतानका विवरण लिखा हुआ था। यह चाबी उसकी चहेती स्पोर्ट्स कारकी थी।
हम कई बार स्वयंको मिलनेवाले आशीर्वादसे इसलिये वंचित हो जाते हैं कि वे हमारी कल्पनाओंके अनुसार नहीं होते हैं।
didn’t understand father’s blessing
A young man was pursuing graduation. He wished that his father should gift him a sports car on his graduation day, upon completion of his studies. His father was financially capable. At last the day came for which he was eagerly waiting. He was dreaming of the car his father was about to buy him. He had not asked anything else from his father.
On graduation day his father called the son to his room and said that he was proud of his son. He lovingly handed a beautiful gift packet wrapped in a colorful, glittery wrapper to his son. The son was disappointed to see this box. He opened the packet and saw that there was a bound Bible book with his name written on it in golden letters. He became enraged and said loudly to his father- ‘Is this what you wanted to give with your money?’ Saying this he went out of the house. He did not look back even after turning back.
Years past. He remained busy in his business. He built a beautiful house and lived happily with his family. One day he remembered his father and thought that he must have become old, he should go to him. Haven’t seen him since graduation. He started preparing to go to meet his father, when he got a telegram that his father had passed away and he had written everything in his will in the name of his son. He has to go to his village and take everything under his control.
When he reached his home, he felt very sad, his heart ached. When he searched his father’s papers, he found that Bible book in the same condition. Tears welled up in his eyes. He started turning the pages of that book, when a car key fell from the back cover of the book. keys
Enclosed was a chit paper with the name of the dealer, date of graduation, details of bill payment. This key was his favorite sports car.
Many times we are deprived of the blessings we get because they are not according to our imaginations.
