आज बसंत पंचमी पर्व है मां सरस्वती के जन्मदिन

ॐ सरस्वती मया दृष्ट्वा, वीणा पुस्तक धारणीम् ।
हंस वाहिनी समायुक्ता मां विद्या दान करोतु में ।।

बसंत पंचमी महत्व-

मान्यता है कि मां सरस्वती के जन्मदिन तथा रति व कामदेव के पृथ्वी पर आगमन के रूप में बसंत पंचमी मनाई जाती है। इसलिए दंपति रति और कामदेव का भी इस दिन पूजन करते हैं, जिससे वैवाहिक जीवन में किसी तरह का कष्ट न आए।

बसंत पंचमी की पौराणिक कथा –

सृष्टि की रचना के समय ब्रह्माजी ने महसूस किया कि जीवों की सर्जन के बाद भी चारों ओर मौन छाया रहता है। उन्होंने विष्णुजी से अनुमति लेकर अपने कमंडल से जल छिड़का, जिससे पृथ्वी पर एक अद्भुत शक्ति प्रकट हुई। छह भुजाओं वाली इस शक्ति रूप स्त्री के एक हाथ में पुस्तक, दूसरे में पुष्प, तीसरे और चौथे हाथ में कमंडल और बाकी के दो हाथों में वीणा और माला थी। ब्रह्माजी ने देवी से वीणा बजाने का अनुरोध किया। जैसे ही देवी ने वीणा का मधुरनाद किया, चारों ओर ज्ञान और उत्सव का वातावरण फैल गया, वेदमंत्र गूंज उठे। ऋषियों की अंतः चेतना उन स्वरों को सुनकर झूम उठी। ज्ञान की जो लहरियां व्याप्त हुईं, उन्हें ऋषिचेतना ने संचित कर लिया। तब से इसी दिन को बंसत पंचमी के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

वसंत पंचमी पर पूजन-

माता शारदा के पूजन के लिये भी बसंत पंचमी का दिन विशेष शुभ रहता है। इस दिन 2 से 10 वर्ष की कन्याओं को पीले-मीठे चावलों का भोजन कराया जाता है तथा उनकी पूजा की जाती है । मां शारदा और कन्याओं का पूजन करने के बाद पीले रंग के वस्त्र और आभूषण कुमारी कन्याओ,निर्धनों व विप्रों को देने से परिवार में ज्ञान, कला व सुख -शान्ति की वृ्द्धि होती है। इसके अतिरिक्त इस दिन पीले फूलों से शिवलिंग की पूजा करना भी विशेष शुभ माना जाता है। || मां सरस्वती जी की जय हो |

Basant Panchami importance- It is believed that Basant Panchami is celebrated as the birthday of Mother Saraswati and the arrival of Rati and Kamadeva on earth. Therefore, the couple also worships Rati and Kamadeva on this day, so that there is no trouble in marital life.

Mythological story of Basant Panchami – At the time of creation, Brahmaji realized that even after the creation of living beings, there is silence all around. Taking permission from Lord Vishnu, he sprinkled water from his Kamandal, due to which a wonderful power appeared on the earth. This Shakti form woman with six arms had a book in one hand, a flower in the other, a kamandal in the third and fourth hands and a veena and a rosary in the remaining two hands. Brahmaji requested the goddess to play the veena. As soon as the Goddess played the melodious sound of Veena, an atmosphere of knowledge and celebration spread all around, Veda mantras echoed. The inner consciousness of the sages was thrilled after hearing those voices. The waves of knowledge that spread were accumulated by the sage’s consciousness. Since then this day is celebrated as Basant Panchami.

Worship on Vasant Panchami- Basant Panchami is also a particularly auspicious day for worshiping Goddess Sharda. On this day, girls aged between 2 to 10 years are fed yellow-sweet rice and are worshipped. After worshiping Mother Sharda and the girls, giving yellow colored clothes and jewelery to the virgin girls, the poor and the destitute, increases knowledge, art and happiness and peace in the family. Apart from this, worshiping Shivalinga with yellow flowers on this day is also considered especially auspicious. , Hail Mother Saraswati.
