गुरु गोविन्द दोऊ ख़ड़े काके लागो पाय।
बलिहारी गुरु आपने गोविन्द दियो बताय॥ ब्रह्मा बनकर अपने शिष्य में सदगुणों का सृजन करना। बिष्णु बनकर उसके सदगुणों, सदप्रवृत्तियों का रक्षण और पालन करना।
महेश बनकर उसमे शेष दुष्प्रवृतियों का नाश करना और शिष्य को उसके साक्षात ब्रह्म स्वरुप का आभास करा देने वाले ऐसे प्रज्ञा पुरुष के प्रति कृत्य – कृत्य हो जाने वाला महापर्व ही गुरु पूर्णिमा है।
जगत में कुशलता पूर्वक चलना सिखाए वो गुरु और जगत से कुशलता पूर्वक चलाकर जगदीश तक पहुँचा दे वो सद्गुरु है।
शूल से फूल, कंकड़ से कंचन, और भोगवान से भगवान बनाने वाले ऐसे सदगुरु देव के चरणों में बारम्बार प्रणाम है।
भारत के सभी पूज्य संतों और गुरुओं के चरणों में वंदन, उनका निरंतर आशीर्वाद और सान्निध्य हम सबको प्राप्त होता रहे।

Guru Purnima is the great festival that destroys the remaining evil tendencies in him by becoming Mahesh and acts towards such a wise man who makes the disciple realize his real Brahma form.
The Guru who teaches how to walk efficiently in the world and who makes him walk efficiently through the world and reaches Jagdish is a Sadguru.
Repeated salutations at the feet of such Sadguru Dev who made a flower out of a thorn, a pebble out of a pebble, and a God out of a devotee.
Salutations at the feet of all the revered saints and gurus of India, may we all continue to receive their blessings and company.
