हाथ में ले गंगाजल गढवा शिव पे चढ़ाने के लिए,
बैठ गया शिव लिंग के आगे करने लगा आराधना,
हाथ को ऊपर उठाया घंटा बजाने के लिए,
देख कर सोने का घंटा पाप मन में आ गया,
हो गया तैयार वह तो घंटा चुराने के लिए,
चढ़ गया शिव लिंग ऊपर घंटा ले जाने के लिए,
हो गए तब प्रकट शंभो दरशन दिखाने के लिए,
जल चढ़ाते हैं सभी मुझको मनाने के लिए,
तू तो खुद ही चढ़ गया मुझको मनाने के लिए,
Shiva’s priest went to convince Shiva,

Seeing the golden hour sin came to mind,

climbed up the Shiva linga to carry the bell,
Shambho appeared then to show Darshan,
Everyone offers water to persuade me,
