संस्कृत-हिंदीको छोड़कर अन्य भाषाका कोई भी शब्द

पूज्यपाद गोस्वामी श्रीगुल्लूजी देववाणी – संस्कृत, हिंदी या व्रजभाषाको छोड़कर दूसरी भाषाका एक शब्द भी नहीं बोलते थे। उन्होंने एक दिन सुना कि उनके पुत्र गोस्वामी श्रीराधाचरण अंग्रेजी पढ़ रहे हैं, तब आपने उन्हें अपने पास बुलाया और बहुत समझाया। एक बार आप श्रीसाहूजी साहेब श्रीललितकिशोरीजीसे मिले थे।बातों-ही-बातोंमें बंदूकका प्रसङ्ग सामने आ गया। आपका कड़ा नियम था कि संस्कृत और व्रजभाषाको छोड़कर एक शब्द भी नहीं बोलूँगा। आपने बंदूक चलानेका वर्णन इस प्रकार व्रजभाषामें किया-

– ‘लौहनलिकामें श्याम चूर्ण प्रवेश अग्नि

दीनी तो भड़ाम शब्द भयौ ।’
