(1) महात्मा गाँधीकी सत्यनिष्ठा
गाँधीजीसे एक अंग्रेजने पूछा कि ‘विपरीत स्थितिमें विरोधियोंके बीच भी आप सही बात कहनेमें जरा भी नहीं झिझकते, इसका क्या कारण है ?’ गाँधीजी बोले-‘मैं सत्यको परमात्माका रूप ही मानता हूँ। सत्यके पक्षमें रहनेसे मुझे लगता है कि मैं सर्वसमर्थ प्रभुकी गोदमें बैठा हूँ। उसकी गोदमें होनेसे फिर किसीका भय कैसे लग सकता है ?’

An Englishman asked Gandhiji, ‘You do not hesitate at all to say the right thing even in the face of your opponents, what is the reason for this?’ Gandhiji said – ‘I consider truth as the form of God. By being on the side of truth, I feel that I am sitting in the lap of Almighty God. How can anyone be afraid of being in his lap?’
